X-Men: Apocalypse

In 3600 BC, En Sabah Nur, known as the first mutant, rules over ancient Egypt with immense powers. As he ages, he starts to confront the chilling reality of his mortality and seeks a way to preserve his life.

During a crucial ceremony, Nur attempts to transfer his consciousness into a younger mutant's body in hopes of gaining immortality. His plans are shattered when conspirators cut off his access to sunlight, causing a catastrophic failure that results in his entombment and the loss of his followers.

Fast forward to 1983 when a cult unwittingly awakens Nur after sunlight hits his casket, reviving him with renewed purpose. He believes humanity has strayed and sets out to reshape the world according to his vision.

As Nur begins to gather his followers, he finds Ororo Munroe, a pickpocket with unparalleled weather-manipulating abilities. Nur enhances her powers, making her a loyal disciple as he solidifies his new regime.

In East Berlin, Raven, known as Mystique, uncovers an underground fight club featuring Angel and Nightcrawler. To rescue Nightcrawler, she seeks help from Caliban to transport him out of the country.

Raven's journey leads her to Psylocke, who introduces her to Angel. Nur enhances both their powers, transforming Angel's wings into formidable metallic weapons, augmenting their potential to serve him.

Alex Summers discovers that his younger brother Scott has started exhibiting lethal optic powers. Concerned for Scott's safety, Alex takes him to Professor Xavier, hoping to guide him through his newfound abilities.

In Poland, Erik Lehnsherr attempts to live peacefully, but after losing his family to militia violence, he unleashes his powers. Nur approaches him at Auschwitz, appealing to Erik's pain and persuading him to join their cause.

As Nur's powers rise, Xavier uses Cerebro to find Erik but falls prey to Nur's mental attack. This gives Nur the ability to manipulate global nuclear threats, escalating the crisis worldwide.

Nur and his followers invade Xavier’s mansion, causing a chaotic confrontation. An explosion triggered by Alex destroys much of the mansion, putting the students' lives at grave risk as Quicksilver works to save them.

Colonel Stryker captures key mutants following the chaos, leading to a harsh interrogation at a military facility. The remaining mutants, led by Scott and Jean, devise a plan to orchestrate a rescue.

With the help of Wolverine, who has his memories partially restored by Jean, Scott and Jean launch a daring mission to rescue their comrades from the military facility. Their teamwork proves vital in getting everyone to safety.

In a climactic battle, Jean and her allies confront Nur and his Horsemen in Cairo. With her full powers unleashed, Jean vanquishes Nur, marking a pivotal moment in the fight for their future.

After the battle, Xavier works to restore Moira’s memories and mend their relationship. Erik helps in rebuilding the school but chooses not to stay, hinting at conflicts yet to come.

In a chilling post-credits scene, mysterious agents invade the Weapon X facility in search of Stryker's research. This ominous development points to further impending dangers for the mutants.
