As the four begin to recover, another child lies in a tank, and Dr. Kwago informs him that he will lead the assembled team once the others have rebooted their powers. But memory has a tricky way of slipping away; Dr. Axis feeds them a convenient false memory, posing as their mother and convincing the group that she is their true parent. The kids face a brutal program of tests designed to probe and push their powers, often triggering chaos for the orderlies and doctors who try to keep things under control. Dr. Kwago appears at Dr. Axis’s office, pressing for the four to be handed over, promising to use them to save the world, and their resistance only fuels a tremor-like warning that the sanctum itself may be compromised.

Meanwhile, Batang-X #5 is struggled from the tank and christened Control by Dr. Kwago, a name that signals that even pain and therapy can forge new teamwork. The darker currents of the plot surge when Dr. Dinero and his wife discuss the test results being generated in their home, only to be attacked again by Zygrax, who ruthlessly eliminates the couple and locates the address of Dr. Axis’s headquarters and the children themselves. In the headquarters, G:Boy and A-Gel quarrel over how much of their past to trust, and the tensions are held in check only by the firm presence of Warlalu and Askal, who step in to remind them of their shared mission. As the experiments press on, Dr. Kwago explains that Control’s supposed limitations do not diminish the younger team’s potential, and the children—armed with armor and weapons that channel their powers—are primed for a dangerous mission.

The plan culminates with a daring heist: the children are sent to reach a sanctum and steal a crystal that would fuel Zygrax’s spaceship. 3-Na initially balks at the plan, but Warlalu and Askal push the group forward, insisting the guards are robots and that success is within reach. The kids don their armor, and the mission begins in earnest—while Dr. Kwago slips into the sanctum, the others use their gear to distract the guards and slip past with practiced ease. With the artifact secured, the Batang-X are escorted back to Kwago’s lab, where their memories—long buried in diskettes—start to resurface in a gradual avalanche. The group’s memories are partly restored through a series of intimate reveals: A-Gel and Kidlat are hooked to a memory-restoring machine, while 3-Na and G:Boy confront the truth of their pasts. Dr. Kwago offers to show them more, but the team chooses to forge ahead with what they’ve learned and to decide for themselves what kind of future they want. The emotional tides run high as A-Gel and Kidlat return to their families, though their parents sleep unaware of their children’s return, a quiet moment that hints at the larger burden they now carry.

Back at the lab, Control becomes the linchpin that binds the Batang-X’s glowing powers together, enabling a new form of teamwork that can synchronize their abilities. G:Boy, who once doubted Control, slowly forms a bond as the four heroes begin to operate in unison—first through a simple, symbolic fist bump at a local McDonald’s where Dr. Kwago explains how Control can fuse their powers into something greater than the sum of its parts. The team then makes a decisive move toward Dr. Axis’s lair, where the truth about the crystal’s true purpose begins to surface. G:Boy makes a fateful choice, breaking away from Axis by turning over the crystal’s control to his teammates—an act that exposes Axis’s true nature to the Batang-X and reframes the stakes of their mission.

As the truth unravels, it’s revealed that Zygrax’s assault is not just personal; Dr. Axis herself is revealed to be an alien, and Zygrax is revealed to be another extraterrestrial intruder with his own cosmic designs. The Batang-X rally, pooling their restored memories and their sharpened powers, and a fierce battle erupts as Zygrax closes in for a final clash. The children push back with renewed resolve, and Dr. Kwago enters the fray, guiding them with a strategist’s eye as the headquarters begins to shake under collapsing systems and collapsing loyalties. The tide turns as the Batang-X reorganize, overcoming Zygrax’s brute force and the alien menace, and sending them into a retreat that ends only when the building begins to explode.

In the end, the four children stand together, their memories no longer fully erased and their powers fully braided into a single, coherent force.
