The film opens with children reading storybooks as a village elder recounts a Brahmarakshasa legend from Kamarottu. The tale describes a kidnapper who targets children and leaves a chilling clue. The frame shifts to a real abduction, foreshadowing danger in the village.

The next day, Janardhan Gambira—a short-tempered landlord—lives with his wife Shaku and his brother Eknath. Vishwanath arrives with his family, including daughter Panna, who longs to hold her wedding at the ancestral house. Janardhan resists, blaming the house’s haunting on his son Sanju’s alleged jewel theft 28 years ago.

That night, Sanju returns from London and, with Panna, discovers the beheaded corpse of police officer Suresh Krishna in the house well. The discovery confirms the house harbors a dangerous past. The shock triggers the unraveling of secrets in the household.

Detective Vikrant Rona arrives in the village with his daughter Guddi to investigate the murders. He survives an attack and begins collecting eerie clues: a mysterious ₹1 note, cryptic writing, and reports of prior child killings. His presence marks the official start of the investigation.

Vikrant interrogates Moose Kunni, a local smuggler with ties to the crime. The conversation reveals deep links between the murders and the town’s criminal networks. He learns that fourteen children from the local school were killed in a similar pattern.

Panna explores the ancestral house and encounters an old woman named Deyyu. Deyyu reveals she is Nittoni’s mother and explains Nittoni’s family died in a suicide tragedy linked to temple theft accusations. The revelation ties past resentments to present violence.

Vikrant learns the crime scene lies on Moose Kunni’s property and discovers the murdered children’s fathers were classmates who bullied Madhava and Raghava for their lower caste. The bullying forms a motive for revenge that drives the killings. The webs of past slights begin to surface as truth.

A village elder recalls the cryptic writing found on the corpses and notes another vow of revenge against those responsible. The elder connects the notes to Nittoni’s family tragedy. The clues push Vikrant toward a long-simmering chain of vengeance.

Vikrant realizes only four bodies were recovered at Nittoni’s family death, implying Madhava survived. He spots a Shiva tattoo on the man posing as Lawrence Pinto, who escapes. Pinto leads Vikrant to an abandoned temple where he finds the names and belongings of the murdered children.

A shocking truth emerges: Guddi is actually Vikrant’s daughter, and his wife remains in a coma. Vikrant learns Madhava and Raghava were his former classmates; he had not defended them, which fuels their vendetta. Madhava, now disguised as Pinto, is orchestrating the retribution.

Panna and Munna are kidnapped as Madhava’s revenge tightens its grip. Vikrant realizes Madhava’s younger brother Raghava is still alive and operating in the shadows. The narrative reveals that Sanju is actually Raghava, who killed the real Sanju to avenge his family’s downfall.

In the final duel, Vikrant fights Madhava and Raghava. Madhava and Deyyu die, while Vikrant defeats and kills Raghava, avenging his daughter Guddi’s memory. Panna and Munna reunite with their families, and Vikrant agrees to keep Raghava’s fate secret from Shaku at Janardhan’s request.
