The United States government launches Project Universal Soldier, aiming to create genetically modified cybernetic supersoldiers. The operation is conducted in a high-security laboratory on a remote island, staffed by scientists and military personnel. The goal is to yield combat-ready soldiers with animal DNA enhancements.
