Navigating the perilous terrain, they are guided by the experienced Forrest and Frater, both carrying their own burdens of personal history. Frater, who has endured nine demanding tours, harbors emotional scars; his estrangement from his family adds complexity to his already troubled psyche. On their initial mission, they visit a secluded farmhouse to interrogate its owner, where they unexpectedly encounter one of the monstrous entities, successfully taking it down with strategic precision.
As their tour progresses, the team embarks on a harrowing mission to find four missing comrades, whose absence has reverberated through their ranks. Tragedy strikes when an IED hidden in the hazardous landscape destroys both their vehicles, resulting in the deaths of Forrest and two others.
