The Disappearance

In the icy city of Montréal, Jay Mallory works as a contract killer for a shadowy international crime syndicate. His life revolves around his violent profession, impacting his personal relationships, especially with his wife, Celandine.

Returning home one winter's day, Mallory is shocked to find that his wife, Celandine, has vanished without a trace. At first, he suspects it might be a result of their tumultuous marriage, but he soon begins to suspect something more sinister.

Mallory has a conversation with Burbank, his contact at the Organization, and begins to sense that Celandine's disappearance may be tied to his recent assignment. The conversation leaves him feeling uneasy and suspicious about the true intentions of the organization.

Shortly after their conversation, Burbank mysteriously disappears, escalating Mallory's concerns. This strange event raises more questions about the Organization and the safety of those involved.

The Organization assigns Mallory a job in Suffolk, England, but he immediately senses that something isn’t right. The lack of vital information about the job only serves to heighten his suspicions that he might be a pawn in a larger game.

Upon arriving in London, Mallory meets Atkinson, his new contact, who provides him with a weapon and brief details about his assignment. The atmosphere is tense as Mallory prepares for what he suspects to be a dangerous mission.

As Mallory stealthily enters the home of his target, he realizes the shocking truth: he is supposed to assassinate Deverell, the head of the Organization. The moment marks a pivotal turn in his mission as he understands that his life is now in grave danger.
