Sliver

Carly Norris, a book editor and divorcee, relocates to the exclusive and narrow '113' sliver building in New York City. She is drawn to the high-floor apartment with a view, and begins settling into her new environment, meeting her real estate agent Evelyn McEvoy. The building's residents introduce her to her new lifestyle and the mysterious atmosphere surrounding the location.

Carly meets tenants Zeke, Jack, Vida, and Gus, who tell her she resembles Naomi Singer, the former tenant who died falling from her balcony. These encounters help establish the vibrant yet secretive community in the building, with each resident hinting at their own stories. Carly learns about Naomi's tragic death and the building's dark history.

Through a flashback, it is revealed that Naomi was pushed off her balcony by a hooded assailant who had access to her apartment. The mysterious circumstances of her death cast a shadow over the building, and Carly begins to suspect there is more lurking behind the facade.

Carly's boss introduces her to Jack, an author who becomes fixated on her. Meanwhile, Zeke helps Carly with moving in and shows strong friendliness. Unbeknownst to her, her apartment is secretly bugged with hidden cameras, exposing her private moments to an unknown watcher.

Carly receives an anonymous gift of a telescope, through which she observes Vida attempting to seduce Jack. Simultaneously, she notices that her private activities, including bathing, are being watched via the hidden cameras in her apartment.

Carly starts a romantic relationship with Zeke after bonding over a gym session, where they share intimate moments. Their sexual relationship becomes increasingly passionate, yet all their private moments are secretly recorded, heightening the sense of paranoia and danger.

Jack begins stalking Carly and warns her about Zeke, claiming he is 'sick'. He also suggests a connection between Zeke and Naomi, intensifying the suspicion and tension. Carly dismisses Jack's accusations as paranoia and remains romantically involved with Zeke.

Tragedies Strike as Gus dies mysteriously in the shower and Vida is murdered, with police suspecting Jack. Carly uncovers Jack's presence with Vida's body and begins to realize the deadly consequences of the building's secrets.

Zeke reveals he owns the building and has installed a comprehensive surveillance system, confirming he is the watcher. Carly discovers Zeke has been spying on all tenants, including herself, leading to feelings of betrayal and disbelief.

Carly deduces from Zeke's secret recordings that Jack murdered Naomi in a fit of jealousy. Tensions peak when Jack attacks Carly in her apartment, and she accidentally kills him in self-defense during the struggle.

After the confrontation, Carly destroys Zeke's surveillance room in anger and frustration, telling him to 'get a life'. She then leaves the building, ending the cycle of obsession, spying, and murder, seeking her own peace.
