Shredder Orpheus

In the Grey Zone, Axel, Scratch, and Razoreus skate as a mysterious cameraman films Eurydice. The footage is delivered to Hades and Persephone, who run the Euthanasia Broadcast Network (EBN). The disturbing recording sets in motion the network's plan to harvest souls.

EBN's programming brainwashes the living to feed the network with souls. Hades dispatches his goons to murder and kidnap Eurydice at her wedding to Orpheus. The couple's future is jeopardized as the network escalates its grip.

Linus presents the Gibson Lyre-Axe Guitar, supposedly forged by Jimi Hendrix, claiming it unlocks new realms of consciousness. With its power, Orpheus chases Eurydice's captors through an EBN door that opens into another realm. The chase shifts from performance to a desperate pursuit.

Inside the EBN, Orpheus encounters his mythic parents, Apollo and Calliope, in a surreal on-air setting. A magic paper shredder looms, threatening to erase his memories along with incoming souls. Persephone begins to take an active interest in his situation.

Persephone pushes Orpheus to confront Hades on the network's platform. Orpheus delivers a stirring performance that persuades Hades to turn the pursuit into a ratings stunt. The condition is that he must not look back until they are both free.

Driven by Scratch's call, Orpheus turns around, breaking the pact. Eurydice does not fully escape and is sent back to the EBN. The moment marks the loss that haunts Orpheus and reshapes the race against the clock.

The EBN enjoys sky-high ratings while Orpheus has become a celebrity caught in a spiral of melancholy. He battles depression, drowning his sorrows in music and skateboarding. Linus and the others try to keep him fed and occupied as missing Eurydice looms over him.

Axel's gang mentions a mysterious gate to the underworld hidden in a skateable parking garage. A tarot oracle warns of risk and cautions against reckless moves. The rumor stirs the youth to push beyond safe limits.

Persephone wants Orpheus back on-air to push Eurydice toward a better performance. The EBN hands Orpheus a magic skateboard to navigate the hellish garage. The move foreshadows a dangerous reunion.

Orpheus faces Hades in a climactic game show where one door leads to Eurydice and the other to his death. Eurydice is secretly locked in her dressing room, so neither door is truly correct. The spectacle ends with the wrong choice, a staged death for ratings.

The Furies decapitate Orpheus with a chainsaw in a brutal televised moment. Eurydice appears to reunite with him in death as part of the EBN's ruse. Razoreus recovers Orpheus's head, ending the duel between love and spectacle.

Axel and his gang blow up a satellite dish to strike back at the EBN. The Grey Zone youth begin to idolize Orpheus, using his skull and music in skateboarding rituals. Axel voices hope that his sacrifice will be understood as love.

In the wake of the chaos, the Grey Zone embraces Orpheus as a mythic symbol of love, risk, and art. The youth fuse music, skateboarding, and ritual around his memory. The film closes with a glimmer of resistance against the EBN's control.
