In 1920, British Governor Scott Buxton and his wife Catherine arrive in the dense forests of Adilabad. Their purpose is to assert control over the local Gond tribe, leading to the brutal abduction of Malli, a young girl with exceptional singing talent.

In response to the abduction of Malli, Komaram Bheem, a determined tribal leader, takes on the identity of Akhtar, a Muslim, to infiltrate and navigate through the British oppression. He is joined by loyal companions, including Jangu and Peddanna, setting the stage for a daring rescue mission.

The British authorities in Hyderabad, led by special advisor Venkat Avadhani, become aware of Bheem's attempts to rescue Malli. They communicate this intelligence to Scott's office, escalating the urgency of Bheem’s capture.

Alluri Sitarama Raju, a police officer hungry for recognition, volunteers to capture Bheem upon hearing of the governor's promise to elevate any officer who succeeds. His eagerness highlights the internal conflicts within the colonial system as he is determined to prove his worth.

Catherine, recognizing the challenge posed by Bheem, declares that any officer who manages to capture him will receive a promotion to special officer. This creates a fierce competition among the officers, leading Ram to devise a cunning plan to trap Bheem.

Under the guise of a rebel, Ram attends a secret meeting of independence activists, where he proposes the assassination of Scott. His true intentions, however, remain hidden, and he escapes when his allegiance is discovered.

In a twist of fate, Bheem and Ram encounter each other while trying to save a boy from a train accident. They form an uneasy alliance, each unaware of the other's true identity and motives, bonding over their shared desire to do right.

Ram cleverly manipulates events to sabotage Jenny's car, forcing her to accept his help. This interaction allows Bheem to get closer to the Governor's residence, crucial for his mission to rescue Malli.

Inside the Governor's palace, Bheem finally meets Malli and reassures her that he is there to rescue her. This emotional encounter strengthens his resolve to bring her back to her family and tribe.

As Ram pursues one of Bheem's confidants, Lachhu, he engages in a tense confrontation, where Lachhu reveals his resilience and cunning. Using a venomous snake, Lachhu manages to fend off Ram, showcasing the danger that surrounds their struggle.

Bheem orchestrates an audacious prison break with the help of his men, using a truck filled with dangerous wildlife as a distraction. This high-stakes escape leads to a tense standoff with Scott, who holds Malli hostage.

Through a series of flashbacks, Ram reflects on his father's legacy as a revolutionary who fought against the British Raj. These memories drive Ram to infiltrate the colonial police in hopes of arming his fellow rebels and honoring his father's sacrifices.

During a public execution meant for Bheem, he sings a powerful anthem that resonates with the crowd, igniting a spark of rebellion. This moment highlights the power of unity and the strength of the oppressed in the face of colonial tyranny.

Sita, Ram's cousin, learns about Ram's dire situation and bravely deceives the British soldiers. Through her clever tactics, she provides valuable intelligence to Bheem, aiding in the effort to rescue Ram from impending execution.

Bheem and Ram unite against Scott in a climactic battle, determined to reclaim their freedom. They succeed in distributing arms to the resistance and ultimately fulfill their promises, reuniting Malli with her mother and establishing themselves as heroes of their people.
