Rigor Mortis

Chin is a troubled, suicidal man whose life fractures after his wife and young son leave him. He moves into a dilapidated apartment block and becomes a vessel for the twin ghosts, seeking to banish them to protect Yang and Pak. The final reveal shows his death by suicide and frames the film’s events as a dying mind trapped in rigor mortis.

A neighbor and weary vampire hunter who bursts into danger, intervening to drive the spirits from Chin’s body. He provides knowledge of the jiangshi and uses occult tools to weaken the threat, ultimately helping to corner the revived undead.
