Omana's cousin Constable Chacko points out inconsistencies in testimonies and the autopsy report. He notes that it rained heavily until 9:30 PM, which would have wet the corpse and affected blood evidence if Omana had died at 8:00 PM. He informs Varma of the rainfall timing, prompting deeper scrutiny of the case.

With multiple confessions and decisive forensic evidence, the investigation closes. The family gets justice, and the corruption within the earlier inquiry is exposed. The killer's identity and the real chain of events are publicly acknowledged, bringing closure to Omana's death.
