Operation Blood Hunt

In 1944, World War II is raging, creating a grim atmosphere around multiple U.S. Marine outposts in the South Pacific. Communications remain cut off, leading to alarming reports of silence where once there was activity.

In desperation, the military reaches out to Reverend Alexander Conte, a man with a troubled past and knowledge of the occult. Despite his disdain for God, he accepts the mission due to the enigmatic circumstances surrounding the missing Marines.

Conte arrives on a jungle island with a team of misfits, including a mercenary and a flamethrower enthusiast among others. The oppressive quiet envelops them, as they realize the island is devoid of all life except the rustle of leaves.

The team discovers an abandoned Marine outpost filled with gore and horrors from the past. Bloodstains, severed limbs, and a Marine crucified upside down paint a chilling picture of what had occurred here.

As night falls, the team sets up camp, confident in their preparations against potential threats. However, panic ensues when Elkins is brutally dragged away, leaving behind only his torso and a grotesque scene that sends shockwaves through the group.

The terrifying creatures reveal themselves as huge, fur-covered nightmares that actively hunt the team. Ramirez meets a gruesome end, unable to complete the Lord's Prayer before the beasts rip him apart.

The remaining squad members meet Heirani, a woman who shares the island's cursed history. She explains how her ancestors made a pact with moon spirits during World War I, resulting in warriors becoming twisted guardians who now hunt for sport.

The team encounters Major Murphy, revealing the true nature of their mission wasn't a rescue but a distraction for uncovering buried treasure. The military intends for them to fail while someone else searches for Yamashita's legendary gold.

In an act of desperation, Dr. Mallory attempts a binding spell using a tome found in ruins. Instead, he unknowingly triggers a curse that invites the pack's wrath, leading to his grisly death at their hands.

Conte confronts the alpha werewolf, who he discovers to be his father, long believed dead. A brutal fight ensues, filled with rage and sorrow, culminating in Conte stabbing him with a silver dagger he barely remembers.

As the alpha wolf dies, it reverts back to human form, whispering a poignant statement about saving Conte once before. This moment serves as both a revelation and a farewell to the complex relationship between father and son.

Murphy decides to destroy the temple to prevent further chaos, setting UV bombs and sacred ash that engulf him and the remaining beasts in flames. This act symbolizes a final stand against the horrors unleashed.

After the explosion, Conte and Heirani manage to escape to the shoreline. Battered and changed by their experiences, they leave behind the horrors of the jungle and the remains of their fallen comrades.

Back on the mainland, Conte is debriefed by military officials who dismiss his accounts of the events and deny any recovery of gold or intelligence. Conte knows the truth of what happened but is labeled a lunatic.

As Conte reflects on his traumatic experiences, a shadowy figure approaches him with a file containing images of mummies and dark artifacts. He realizes that while his previous mission ended, a new one awaits him.
