Operation Blood Hunt

Once on the island, the team encounters the brutal reality of their situation: they find the dead bodies of previous soldiers and face the fact that they are dealing with real werewolves, which are tied to the local tribe and their rituals. Throughout their mission, it is revealed that there’s a stash of treasure—Yamashita’s gold—that the military is after, adding another layer of danger and intrigue. The military’s plan is to keep the werewolves distracted while they hunt for the gold, but the truth is more complicated than it first appears. Murph, a vampire, leaks the military’s plans, which sets off a chaos that helps the reverend and his team fight the monsters. Thanks to the reverend’s preparedness—with a trusty crossbow loaded with moon-silver arrows—most of the team fall victim to the werewolves’ vicious attacks. Despite the chaos, the reverend manages to survive along with Billy the Kid, a team member who becomes surprisingly resilient. Heirani, a member of the tribe, also survives and reveals that her tribe tried to save the reverend’s father by turning him into a werewolf, but it didn’t work out. In the end, the reverend and Billy escape safely with some of the gold, thanks to Murph, who is holding off the military until they are free. As they leave the island and return to safety, there’s a mysterious visitor seeking the reverend, hinting that the story isn’t truly over and that more adventures are likely in the future. The ending leaves the audience with a sense of ongoing battles between good and evil, with the possibility of future threats lurking just beyond the horizon.
