On a fateful night, Dani Odello-Timmis is brutally murdered while renovating the couple's country house. Her husband, psychiatrist Ted Timmis, is not present at the time, raising suspicions about the crime.

Olin Boole, one of Ted's former patients, visits Dani that evening to warn her about a stranger lurking in their home. His visit occurs shortly before the horrific act, highlighting the ominous atmosphere.

Olin is later discovered murdered in his room at the halfway house, reinforcing the belief that he must have been involved in some deceitful activities. His death adds to the mystery surrounding Dani's murder, leaving the investigation in a challenging position.

One year after Dani's death, her twin sister Darcy, who possesses psychometric powers, is visited by Ted at her shop. They make plans to meet again, setting the stage for a deeper exploration of the family’s tragic events.

Darcy unexpectedly arrives at the country house, where Ted now lives with his new girlfriend Yana. Just before her arrival, a large crate containing a life-sized wooden mannequin is delivered, hinting at an eerie twist.

While Ted is at work, Darcy is left alone with Yana, who tries to leave but is thwarted when her car keys mysteriously disappear. This strange occurrence escalates when Yana witnesses the mannequin moving on its own, amplifying her fear.

Yana examines the mannequin and discovers disturbing items hidden within it, including photographs of Dani and Darcy. This unsettling find heightens the tension in the house and creates a link to Dani’s troubled past.

When Ted returns, Darcy reveals her knowledge of his role in Dani's murder. She also confesses to killing Olin, believing him to be involved, only to learn through her powers that he was innocent all along.

In an attempt to prove his innocence, Ted claims he will engage the investigator of the case to clarify evidence. His facade begins to crumble as Darcy realizes the depth of his deception.

While fetching Ted's phone, Darcy accidentally falls through a trap door that Ted had removed. This act causes chaos, leading to immediate danger for her as Ted's dark intentions become clearer.

Ivan, the brutish orderly, is sent by Ted to cleanup after Darcy's fall. However, he encounters the animated mannequin and suffers a brutal attack, showing that Ted's machinations are more sinister than they appear.

Having survived the initial attack, Ivan is committed to the psychiatric hospital, but Ted takes precautions to silence him permanently. He releases a violent cannibal within the hospital to ensure Ivan’s demise.

Following Yana's departure due to the traumatic events, Ted returns to the country house, now utterly alone. The haunting air of the residence is amplified by both Dani's and Darcy’s ghosts lingering in the shadows.

On his doorstep, Ted finds a mysterious package from Darcy's shop containing a haunted bell. Ignoring its ominous origins, Ted boldly rings it, unaware of the lurking spirit that could spell his doom.
