Bobby, who was orphaned early in life, is raised lovingly by his uncle, Retd. I.G Matthews, who treats him as his own son. Bobby is cherished by his family, especially by the young children of his cousin Baby. His life takes a complicated turn when he gets engaged to Tina, Chackochan’s daughter, but his past comes back to haunt him in an unexpected way.

The situation becomes more complex when Nina, [Shobana], Bobby’s college sweetheart, suddenly reappears with an infant, claiming that Bobby is the child’s father. Bobby vehemently denies her accusations, going to great lengths to prove her claims false. However, Nina manages to manipulate Matthews into believing her story, exposing Bobby as a liar and creating chaos within the family.

Bobby’s relatives are forced to conceal the truth about Nina and the child from Chackochan, as they struggle to make decisions that will protect their family’s reputation. To avoid raising suspicion, Nina is introduced to others as a home tutor for Baby’s children, leaving everyone unsure about the child’s true parentage. Despite Bobby’s insistence that the child isn’t his, he finds it impossible to verify Nina’s story, which leads to humorous yet tense situations, including Unnunni, [Jagathy Sreekumar], getting worried about possible infidelity involving Daisy, [Subhashini].

Throughout these events, Bobby confides in Daisy about how his relationship with Nina started, developed, and ended. Nina, meanwhile, proves herself to be a talented and caring tutor and gradually develops genuine bonds with most of Bobby’s family members, except for Bobby himself. As tension escalates, Chackochan discovers that Nina has previously been married to Bobby, which leads him to call off the wedding and publicly shame Matthews for his dishonesty.

In a daring move, Bobby demands Nina marry him for real, but she refuses, overwhelmed by the situation. Nina finally confesses the truth, breaking down under pressure. The revelation shocks everyone, especially Baby, who learns from Nina that the child truly belongs to Bobby. Baby had previously been involved in an affair with Nina’s sister, who tragically died during childbirth, leaving Nina to raise her niece in difficult circumstances.

Fearing the scandal, Baby initially refuses to accept the truth, but Matthews intervenes forcefully, admonishing Baby and expressing empathy for Bobby’s suffering. As events unfold, Nina’s health suddenly deteriorates after she faintly collapses, revealing that she suffers from polycythemia vera, like her sister. Dr. Romy, [Lalu Alex], explains that her illness might have worsened due to missed doses of medication, and Nina’s desire to protect her niece has driven her to this point. Her family, including Bobby, rushes to save her life with medical intervention and frantic efforts to administer radioactive phosphorus treatment in time.

Despite their efforts and prayers, Nina’s condition worsens, and she ultimately passes away, leaving Bobby and the entire family devastated. The film ends on a poignant note, with Bobby seemingly alone, grappling with grief and the loss of his loved ones, highlighting the tragic and emotional journey they’ve endured together.
