Venkat Ratnam spots a candidate trying to join the selections under MLA Byreddy's recommendation and refuses to admit him. He faces pressure from Byreddy, and as a consequence is transferred to Warangal.

Byreddy’s convoy obstructs a pregnant woman waiting in an autorickshaw, prompting Venkat Ratnam to intervene. In response, Byreddy slaps him, and Arjun witnesses the confrontation, which seeds his growing resentment toward the police.

Venkat Ratnam dreams of making Arjun an honest and sincere police officer, hoping his son breaks the cycle of fear-driven policing. He believes integrity is worth more than power or status.

Decades later, Arjun reluctantly participates in the Telangana Police Selections due to his father's insistence. He initially fails because he does not want to become a police officer, even though the tests demand commitment.

While accompanying his father and uncle, Arjun stumbles upon a kidnapping in progress and manages to save the heroine. Although he wastes some time, he still makes it through the selection tests.

Arjun is selected as an SI for Punjagutta Police Station. On his first day, he releases several arrested drug dealers, which alarms the Commissioner and nearly leads to his dismissal, but the criminals’ actions subsequently lead to major arrests and his rising status.

The father of the rescued woman informs Arjun that she is averse to men and wishes to become a nun. This revelation adds a personal dimension to Arjun's policing journey.

The Commissioner credits Arjun with saving the city from a bomb disaster during an undercover operation. He had been tracking sleeper cells while following the heroine in a song sequence, causing the bombers to withdraw.

Home Minister Byreddy contacts Arjun to negotiate, and Arjun offers to assist with an IT raid intended to help Byreddy lose his job. This forged alliance marks a shift toward political manipulation rather than honest policing.

Byreddy orders an encounter with a suspect; Arjun agrees, but his father dives to shield the man and is fatally struck by a truck. The event shatters Arjun's faith in the path he is on.

The emotional trauma leaves Venkat Ratnam in a coma. Later, Byreddy informs Arjun that he was never officially appointed due to a clerical error, and that another man held the position meant for him.

Arjun retrieves lists of fake officers using the RTI Act and heads to the governor's office with evidence. His father is kidnapped by Byreddy during this mission, triggering a plan to expose the deception.

Arjun proposes a plan to Byreddy: show him a dummy app to divert votes in exchange for sending appointment letters to the original 3000 candidates. Byreddy falls for the ruse and agrees to issue the letters, while Arjun's father is retired with honors. The plan culminates as Byreddy is later arrested when the truth about the app comes out.
