Jolly tells Hina Qasim that Mr. Rizvi will take her case and quotes a fee of ₹200,000. She discovers the deceit and realizes she has been manipulated for Jolly's own gain. Overwhelmed by the betrayal, Hina commits suicide.

On 13 August 2015, Iqbal Qasim is killed in a staged encounter by Inspector Suryaveer Singh, who labels him as terrorist Mohammed Iqbal Quadri in official records. To make the incident look genuine, Singh also shoots Baldev Singh Bhadauria, a fellow constable, to erase any suspicion of impropriety. The truth of the fake encounter begins to surface as the case unfolds.

Filled with guilt, Jolly decides to fight Hina's case and files a Public Interest Litigation (PIL). He hopes the legal system will uncover the truth and secure justice for the victims. This marks a risky stand that threatens his career and future prospects.

Singh brings in Lucknow's top lawyer, Pramod Mathur, to lead the defense against the PIL. This move escalates the legal battle and signals a fight to block Jolly's pursuit of truth. Mathur's involvement also raises the stakes for Jolly's case.

Justice Sunderlal Tripathi schedules a hearing date for the PIL and admonishes Jolly to collect credible evidence. He makes it clear that flimsy material will not sway the court. The order places pressure on Jolly to strengthen his case.

Mathur uses his influence to tamper with the narco test video of the witness, attempting to undermine the credibility of the testimony. The court or authorities begin disciplinary actions as a result. Justice Tripathi orders scrutiny and hints at potential wrongdoing by the defense.

The Disciplinary Committee is chaired by Rizvi, the very man Jolly works for, who paradoxically grants Jolly four days to prove his worth. This decision reflects the conflict of interest between Rizvi's conscience and his official role. Jolly gains a narrow window to demonstrate the case's merit.

While examining Hina and Iqbal's wedding album, Jolly and Pushpa notice an unknown Kashmir cop, Fahim Bhat. Jolly travels to Kashmir to verify Fahim's identity and to uncover the truth about the slain terrorist. Fahim later travels back to Lucknow and is embroiled in a fake case.

Fahim testifies and confirms that Qasim was not the real terrorist and that Quadri bribed Singh to secure his release. Fahim reveals that Qasim had filed complaints against Singh. This revelation shifts the case toward the truth the PIL seeks.

Jolly, with support from Police Commissioner VK Paul, demands that the truth be told, threatening to file a PIL against all past encounters if needed. The police brass becomes a crucial ally in pushing the investigation forward. This intensifies the legal battle against Singh and his team.

Mathur protests by occupying the courtroom floor to block Fahim's testimony, while Justice Tripathi refuses to be swayed. The standoff stretches into the night, underscoring the importance of the incoming evidence. The judges' resolve signals a turning point in the trial.

At night, Fahim testifies and Jolly presses Iqbal on the details of the Shastras, leading to Iqbal admitting that he is Quadri and that he bribed Singh. The confession marks a decisive break in the defense's ability to block the truth. The courtroom mood shifts toward a decisive verdict.

Justice Tripathi declares Qasim innocent, orders Quadri's arrest, and sentences Singh and his accomplices to life imprisonment for murder, erasing evidence, and showing false evidence. Jolly's PIL triumphs as justice is served. The case closes with Jolly realizing his dream of a law chamber.
