Parag Dixit leads a normal life with his girlfriend Mansi until a shocking drug case derails everything. He is accused of narcotics possession and firing at a police officer, accusations that threaten to end his relationship and freedom. The true hand behind the misfortune appears to be his friend Keshav Rathod.

Parag is arrested in Bandra on narcotics charges and for allegedly firing at a police officer. The case points to Keshav Rathod as the architect of his trouble, setting the stage for a long legal fight. He is taken into custody, and his life takes a grim, uncertain turn.

Parag is confined in an overcrowded jail block, where the conditions are dehumanizing and mentally exhausting. Mansi hires Advocate Harish Bhatia to represent him at the preliminary hearing, but the judge denies bail. The system seems to close ranks against him.

After the charge sheet is filed, Parag appears in court but bail is again denied because of the seriousness of the charges and fear of tampering with evidence. The legal fight extends as months pass without relief.

Months after the arrest, Keshav Rathod dies in hospital, removing one of the key players in Parag's misfortune. The death intensifies the sense of injustice and the complexity of the case.

Parag forms a cautious friendship with Nawab inside the jail, who shows him a glimmer of support. Nawab offers sympathy and warns him to navigate the inmates' power dynamics carefully.

Ghani is released on bail and becomes Baba Bhai's henchman, pulling Parag deeper into the underworld's web. He learns that his wife has remarried and, overwhelmed by despair, takes his own life.

Galib escapes from jail by bribing police, highlighting pervasive corruption. Joe gains bail and marks his freedom by donating his clothes, prompting Parag to lash out at him.

Parag is punished with ten days in solitary confinement after a confrontation with Joe. He is released after Nawab's request, signaling a temporary relief within the harsh routine of imprisonment.

With Kabir's help, Parag is allowed to visit the hospital to meet Mansi and his mother, providing a rare moment of personal connection amid his struggle. The visit reinforces his motivation to fight the case.

Nawab admonishes Parag to stay away from gangsters who demand heavy returns. He reveals how his younger brother was drawn into a murder by a gangster, and Nawab was forced to kill both his brother and the gangster—a grim lesson in loyalty and consequence.

Two years pass and Parag is convicted and sentenced to ten years, with only two served. He loses faith in himself and the system, and contemplates suicide as a desperate option.

On a routine transfer, Parag is moved toward Nasik Jail with the help of Baba Bhai. During the transfer, Kabir and his gang orchestrate an escape, but Parag stays behind, wary of joining their plan.

Six months after the transfer, in Kolhapur Jail, Mansi hires a new lawyer who proves Parag's innocence. Parag is acquitted and breathes free again.

Not long after his acquittal, Parag and Mansi visit Nawab in jail, signaling a return to life beyond the courtroom's shadow and a cautious step toward rebuilding their lives.
