In the vibrant setting of Bihar, the story revolves around Abhay Singh, a charismatic yet feared enforcer of pakadwa vivaah, a local tradition where grooms are abducted and compelled into marriage without the exchange of dowry. He operates under the influence of his powerful and cunning father, Hukum Singh, who considers this practice a form of delivering justice to families seeking dowry. Despite his ruthless methods, Abhay takes pride in his reputation and believes he is doing what is right, often enjoying a sense of local fame and admiration for his actions.

The film introduces Babli Yadav, a bold and independent woman who returns to her hometown after being expelled from school for her rebellious nature.
