Two engineering college dropouts and best friends, Sakthi, Gautham Ram Karthik, and Balaji, RJ Balaji, start a small electronics shop on Richie Street, where they reverse engineer and assemble devices. Sakthi has a knack for understanding electronic functionalities and even develops a mobile phone that can be assembled from unique parts and heavily customized. He meets Asha, Shraddha Srinath, a final-year engineering student who buys a laptop from them; a moment of friction when she accuses him of cheating soon gives way to warmth, and they fall in love. Her support helps Sakthi’s project win acceptance from a national electronics firm for mass production in the near future.

One day, they are hired to fix CCTV cameras in the home of a wealthy man. The house belongs to Minister Devaraj, Super Subbarayan, and although they complete the job properly, they are not paid and are insulted. In the political sphere, Devaraj orders the closure of several engineering colleges, claiming they lack facilities and staff. About ten Chennai colleges are shut down, and within ten days he approves those that pay him bribes. The result is a flood of extra fees at the remaining colleges, pushing financially vulnerable students to the edge as the year-end semester approaches. When a final-year student, unable to cope with the mounting costs, commits suicide by touching a live wire in front of Sakthi and his friends, Sakthi realizes the tragedy stems from Devaraj’s bribe racket.

Motivated to act, Sakthi uses his technical skills to expose the corruption online, with Balaji by his side and an ally, Gopi, who had once earned a standing ovation for his electronics project but ends up waiting tables because of the corrupt system. Gopi’s work inspires Sakthi to design an electronic surveillance bug disguised as a common housefly and to send it to the location where Devaraj hides his bribes. The plan works, and Arul, Devaraj’s brother-in-law, Stunt Silva, is caught on camera with cash; the footage goes viral and sparks widespread outrage. Although Arul denies any connection to Devaraj, the public outcry forces the Prime Minister to remove Devaraj from his ministerial post.

Desperate to salvage his position, Devaraj betrays everyone by killing Arul just as Arul is about to name Sakthi. Devaraj then captures Sakthi and Asha and subjects Sakthi to a brutal assault, but Sakthi turns the tables by coaxing Devaraj into revealing the locations of all his hidden money, a revelation recorded by hidden cameras in Asha’s house. A fierce confrontation ensues, ending with Sakthi killing Devaraj. The incriminating footage is handed over to the CBI, and Sakthi is celebrated for his bravery. He takes a modest share of the confiscated money as CCTV charges and is joyfully reunited with Asha and Balaji, completing a hard-earned triumph over corruption.
