In Amsterdam, American backpackers Paxton and Josh, along with Icelander Óli, encounter Alexei, a Russian man who entices them with stories of a Slovak hostel populated by women eager for American companionship. Curious and adventurous, the trio decides to take a train to Slovakia and explore the promise of their new destination.

The backpackers board a train to Slovakia, where they meet a Dutch businessman whose strange behavior unsettles them. His bizarre mannerisms foreshadow the harrowing experiences that await them in the village.

Upon reaching a small village in Slovakia, the backpackers check into a local hostel. They are introduced to two attractive women, Natalya and Svetlana, who invite them to a spa, igniting the excitement of the night ahead.

At the spa, the men drink and dance with Natalya and Svetlana, fully engrossed in the allure of the night. However, Josh’s unease about relationships following a breakup leads him to step outside briefly, unaware of the dark turn events will soon take.

The following morning, Óli is reported missing along with a Japanese backpacker named Kana, who has lost her friend Yuki. An ominous MMS photo from Yuki’s phone appears, showing the two missing individuals near an abandoned factory with the chilling word 'Sayonara' below.

Paxton and Josh, alongside Kana, begin to suspect that something sinister is at play. They follow a man in Óli's jacket to a museum filled with medieval torture devices, causing them to realize they might be in grave danger.

After a night of drinking, Josh wakes up to find himself handcuffed in a dungeon-like room filled with gruesome tools. His torturer, the Dutch businessman, inflicts horrific pain on him, revealing a shocking, twisted side to his motivations.

Paxton awakens to find Josh and Kana missing. Desperate for answers, he seeks out the women from the hostel and demands to be taken to them, unaware of the dark intentions behind their hospitality.

Inside a horrifying factory, Paxton witnesses the chilling reality of what has happened to Josh. He is confronted by the Dutch businessman and thugs who have been torturing backpackers, leading to a series of terrifying encounters.

In a harrowing battle for survival, Paxton manages to free himself from his captors and retaliates against the torturers. He uses his surroundings to his advantage, fighting back with ruthlessness to escape the gruesome fate set before him.

After escaping, Paxton finds Kana, but she is traumatized by her ordeal. Unable to cope with her disfigurement, she tragically takes her own life in front of a train, leaving Paxton to grapple with the horror of the situation.

While on a train to Vienna, Paxton encounters the Dutch businessman once more, leading to a final confrontation. In a fit of vengeance, he captures the businessman and delivers a brutal punishment, mirroring the suffering they inflicted upon others.

Having exacted revenge on his tormentor, Paxton escapes from the factory, adopting a disguise to evade capture. He is determined to escape the nightmare that Slovakia has turned into, leaving his friends behind.

Paxton discovers the existence of Elite Hunting, a terrifying organization that profits from the torture of tourists. This dark revelation sheds light on the horrific intentions behind the encounters with the locals, sparking a sense of urgency to escape.

Ultimately, Paxton manages to board a train out of Austria, escaping the horrors he faced in Slovakia. However, the memories of the gruesome experiences haunt him as he grapples with the emotional and psychological scars left by the ordeal.
