Fright Night Part 2

Three years after the attack, Charley Brewster is in psychiatric therapy and clinging to the belief that vampires aren’t real. He dismisses the memory of Jerry Dandrige as the work of a serial killer and tries to move on with his life. The session frames his skepticism and emotional distance from the past event.

Charley and his girlfriend Alex Young, a psychology student, are dating and visit Charley's old friend Peter Vincent at his Fright Night show. Mysterious crates are delivered to Charley during the visit, and four strange individuals, including Regine, arrive. That night, Charley dreams of Regine visiting and biting him.

Charley spots his friend Richie Green entering Regine’s apartment and witnesses what seems like Richie being drained by Regine and her companion Belle. Later, Charley and Peter crash a party at Regine’s penthouse, where Richie appears unharmed and Regine claims she’s a 'performance artist'.

During the party, Regine seduces Charley with a hypnotic dance, while Peter notices that she casts no reflection in mirrors—a classic vampire trait that deepens Charley’s suspicion.

Outside the dancing, Regine reveals to Peter that she is Jerry Dandrige’s sister and has come for revenge. The revelation confirms Charley’s fears and intensifies the danger surrounding him and his circle.

That night, Regine visits Charley while he sleeps and bites him. He begins showing signs of transformation, including aversion to garlic and sunlight, signaling that the vampire threat is now painfully personal.

With Richie's body discovered, Charley finally accepts the truth about Regine. Regine’s minions—Louie, Belle, and Bozworth—begin stalking Charley’s girlfriend Alex, tightening the danger around her and Charley.

Peter tries to warn Charley and Alex about Regine, but they dismiss him. On a live TV broadcast, Peter attempts to kill Regine but is arrested, while Regine has effectively seized control of Fright Night.

Charley and Alex are arrested during a run-in with Louie. Dr. Harrison, Charley’s therapist, bails Alex out and then reveals that he, too, is a vampire, deepening the personal peril around Charley.

Alex kills Dr. Harrison and, with the help of a sympathetic patient, breaks Peter Vincent out of the psychiatric hospital. The trio prepares for a dangerous rescue mission against Regine.

Alex, Charley, and Peter race to Regine’s lair to rescue Charley, who has been bailed out by Regine and is on the verge of becoming a vampire. The stakes are personal as Charley’s humanity hangs in the balance.

The trio battles Regine’s vampire gang in a climactic confrontation. Regine tries to escape into a coffin, but finds it lined with Communion wafers, sealing her fate. Peter exposes Regine to sunlight, destroying her.

In the wake of Regine’s defeat, Charley and Alex joke about the incredibility of their experience and cling to each other. As they embrace, a bat flies away, hinting that the vampire threat may not be entirely over.
