Determined to prove his theory, Charley enlists [Evil Ed Bates] and Amy to investigate ancient lore that could explain Gerri’s uncanny nature. Their online search leads them to a notorious figure of vampire myth, Elizabeth Bathroy, and a parallel legend that suggests a vampire of centuries could only be freed from a curse by a ritual bathed in blood. The trio learns that Bathroy’s bodyguards died in a brutal-once, and Bathroy herself survived by becoming one of the undead. The key detail emerges: Bathroy seeks to bathe in the blood of a virgin born at midnight under a blood moon, a ritual that would extinguish her curse and restore daylight for her to walk freely again.

Eager for a glimmer of legitimacy, the group tracks down Peter Vincent, a host of a popular horror/ghost-hunting show who’s currently filming in Romania. Peter is dismissive of their claims when they burst into a strip club, but the trio persuades him for a fee — $3,000 — to join them in their stalker-like pursuit of Gerri. A reluctant alliance forms, and Amy’s unexpected decision to tag along strengthens the unlikely party as they descend into the labyrinthine subway tunnels.

In the subway, Gerri awaits, her eyes shifting to a blood-red hue. Peter senses the danger first, and he escapes the car, leaving the other three behind. Evil Ed makes a sacrificial move to shield them, buying time as Gerri feeds, transforming him into her latest minion. She uses her uncanny radar-like powers to locate Amy and Charley, ripping through walls and windows with a sonic scream as the pair scramble toward a church beneath the city.

The church becomes a fragile sanctuary, a place where Gerri cannot pursue. A brutal moment follows as Gerri slashes Amy’s leg, testing the resilience and the will of her would-be savior. A taxi ride to the airport marks a tense turning point. Gerri reappears with terrifying speed, abducting Amy and revealing that she intends to bring Amy to Bathroy’s castle. Charley seeks out [Peter Vincent], who at first refuses to help but is swayed by the practicalities of vampire lore. Peter equips them with wooden stakes, garlic powder, and holy water, and hints at a crucial, dawn-bound principle: a vampire killed at dawn could restore humanity to others turned by that vampire the previous night.

In a cruel twist, Gerri bites Amy, turning her into a vampire and revealing the ritual’s true price: Amy must kill Charley, the one she loves, to break Gerri’s curse. Gerri promises continued immortality, shielded from sunlight, if the ritual succeeds. Charley, armed with tools and a stubborn resolve, races to confront the threat as the countdown to sunrise tightens.

The final confrontation erupts in a brutal, chaotic scuffle. Evil Ed returns to menace Charley, only to be defeated by a fatal blast of holy water that annihilates his insides. Charley locates Amy, but love overpowers suspicion; Amy’s new vampiric bloodlust turns Charley, though his transformation is tempered by the fact that he was bitten by Amy rather than by Gerri’s own hand.
