In Haddonfield, Illinois, on the fateful night of October 31, 1978, the narrative unfolds in a chilling atmosphere as it recounts the grim events following the original film. While Loomis and Brackett continue their investigation, they encounter a young man wearing a mask that eerily resembles Michael’s. In a freak accident, he is struck by a patrol car, resulting in a fiery explosion that obliterates any evidence of a body. The ominous news comes as Brackett learns that his own daughter has fallen victim to this murderous rampage, causing him to turn his anger towards Loomis for allowing Michael to escape custody. Just as dread builds, Michael is revealed to be tracking Laurie through the hospital corridors, his stalking stealthy and relentless.
