In Hong Kong, American businessman Paul Wagner and his wife Katherine Wagner together with their six-month-old twin sons, Chad and Alex, along with his business partner Nigel Griffith from Griffith-Wagner Enterprises, celebrate the opening of the Victoria Harbour Tunnel, a monumental project that took six years and 200 million dollars to complete. After the festivities, the family is escorted home by their bodyguard, Frank Avery, who they let go for the evening.

However, that night, tragedy strikes as they are ambushed by the assassin Moon and his crew. Paul manages to alert Frank through a radio, prompting him to rush back. Despite his efforts, both Paul and Katherine are murdered, while the assailants aim to eliminate the twins. Fast forward 25 years, and Chad, now an accomplished martial arts specialist and aerobics instructor played by Jean-Claude Van Damme, is living in Los Angeles. He and Frank, who has been his guardian since the tragic night, decide it’s time to return to Hong Kong to uncover the truth about their familial ties and seek vengeance against those who wronged them. Frank drops a shocking revelation that Chad’s true origins are not what he believes—they were born in France, and their lives were forever altered by that fateful night.

In a Hong Kong bar, Chad encounters a woman who confuses him for Alex. This turns out to be Danielle Wilde, Alex’s fiancée, sparking a series of events that reveal the undeniable connection between the twins. Frank recounts how Paul partnered with Nigel to finance the tunnel, ultimately leading to betrayal by both Nigel and drug lord Raymond Zhang after Paul’s need for funding ended.

As events unfold, Alex is skeptical but eventually joins forces with Chad and Frank, leading them on a mission to confront their past. The trio faces numerous threats, including a deadly encounter with smugglers and a drug enterprise that threatens to swallow them whole.
