Deadpool & Wolverine

The movie concludes with Deadpool and Wolverine managing to stop Cassandra Nova from destroying the multiverse. After a fierce battle in the Void, Deadpool and Wolverine learn from Paradox that the only way to deactivate the dangerous Time Ripper is to cause a short circuit by connecting its positive matter and anti-matter flows. This risky move would erase both of them from existence, but they decide to go through with it anyway, demonstrating their willingness to sacrifice themselves to save the multiverse. As they initiate the destruction of the device, Cassandra is erased, and the multiverse is spared from annihilation. Interestingly, Deadpool and Wolverine survive the process, though it remains a mystery why they were immune—likely due to their narrative “immunity” as the main characters of the film, fitting with Deadpool’s meta-humor. Following the crisis, TVA agent Hunter B-15 captures Paradox and shows mercy to Deadpool by sparing his universe from obliteration.

Meanwhile, Deadpool, ever the wisecracker, asks TVA to give Wolverine and Laura a chance to start anew, but B-15 declines, arguing that their pasts made them who they are. Instead, Deadpool adopts Wolverine and Laura into his extended family, offering them new hope and a chance for a fresh start. The film also features brief cameos from alternate versions of familiar characters like Blade, Elektra, and Gambit, who are also pruned and later restored to their respective universes, hinting they might appear again in future Marvel stories, such as “Secret Wars.”

In the final post-credits scene, Deadpool humorously reveals that his joke about Johnny Storm cost him his life because Cassandra turned on him, highlighting his signature blend of humor and chaos. Overall, the ending ties together themes of sacrifice, redemption, and the importance of heroism, with Deadpool and Wolverine emerging as unlikely saviors in a multiverse teetering on collapse, ready to face whatever challenges come next.
