Casino Raiders

Lung, a casino tycoon, summons Crab Chan and Sam Law to his Lake Tahoe casino to help expose a scheme run by Kung and his son Taro. They meet Koyan Tong, a wealthy Hong Kong heiress on vacation, and begin coordinating a plan. The visit sets the stakes high as rival gamblers and criminals scheme for control of big-money games.

Back in Hong Kong, Kung sends triad killers to hunt Sam, forcing Crab to act quickly to protect his friend. The pursuit culminates in a violent confrontation that leaves Sam's safety precarious. The danger foreshadows the end of their carefree gambling adventures.

During a desperate rescue in Hong Kong, Crab intervenes to shield Sam from the attackers. He sustains a severe injury to his left hand, crippling his once-perfect gambling touch. The injury will haunt him through the rest of the story.

Koyan introduces Sam to her father, Lung, who offers Sam a position in his company. The job provides Sam with a different path beyond street-level gambling. This alliance deepens Sam's ties to both Koyan and Lung.

Sam disrupts Kung's money-scam targeting Mr Tong, blocking their unlawful cash flow. In response, Kung hires more thugs to target Sam and exert pressure. The war between the Kungs and their rivals intensifies as the stakes rise.

After a brutal attack, Sam is hospitalised. Mr Tong visits and makes clear he wants Sam out of gambling to protect his interests. The pressure adds personal peril to the external casino warfare.

Koyan's engagement to Sam is celebrated with friends and family, and Crab arrives with his girlfriend Bo Bo to offer congratulations. Sam's decision to go straight surprises Crab, casting doubt on their friendship. The party marks the shifting loyalties among the trio.

Crab enters a casino owned by Taro and wagers a massive sum. Police raid interrupts the game, and Crabs grabs the case with the stake, hurling it out a window to avoid capture. Investigators open the case and uncover that most of the money is counterfeit cash.

Taro retaliates by abducting Koyan, forcing Crab to confront him in a tense showdown. Bo Bo is killed when Taro shoots during the confrontation, deepening Crab's resolve to protect Koyan and the truth.

Crab is forced to choose between three wine glasses, two of which are poisoned. He pretends to bluff, and although Kung believes Crab's bluff, he and his ally escape. Crab ultimately succumbs to the poison, fulfilling his arc as a doomed gambler.

Sam returns to Hong Kong seeking vengeance and enlists Lung and other American casino owners to counter the Kungs. The Americans and Japanese gamble on who will control casinos in Asia, setting the stage for a high-stakes showdown. Koyan brings over HK$1 billion in asset certificates to back Sam's bid.

The players pause for a break before the final round, and Sam is attacked in the restroom by a hitman. He asks Koyan to stand in for him for the final bet, urging her to push the stake to the limit. When Koyan wins with a straight flush, Taro begins a slaughter rather than concede, and is shot dead by both sides.

In the hospital, Koyan overhears Sam telling the hitman that the bathroom attack was staged to trigger the Kungs' downfall. He explains his plan to conceal the truth from her forever. Grieved, Koyan removes her engagement ring and leaves Sam's room.
