In Finland, a helicopter carrying terrorists arrives for a covert mission. The pilot realizes the passengers are terrorists when one of them, Hazar, warns him to flee for his life.

After escaping the helicopter, Hazar conducts a missile test, demonstrating his lethal capabilities. He sends a successful test message to his fellow terrorists, indicating their plans are unfolding smoothly.

Back in the forest, Oskari struggles with a test of strength while attempting to pull a bowstring. His father insists he is ready to hunt despite facing skepticism from a hunting leader.

Meanwhile, Air Force One, carrying President Bill Moore, faces a missile threat during its flight to the Pre D8 Summit. Jamming signals complicate their countermeasures, forcing the President to escape the plane.

Oskari witnesses a bright flash in the sky indicating the downing of Air Force One, with the debris landing dangerously close to him. He experiences a mix of horror and curiosity as he escapes the scene.

Oskari discovers the escape pod housing President Moore and, after some initial suspicion, they form a trustful bond. Bill proves his identity to Oskari by showing his passport, easing the boy's fears.

As Bill and Oskari traverse the wilderness, they uncover the betrayal of Morris, one of the Secret Service agents. Bill realizes that he is being hunted, and they must separate to ensure both their survival.
