Unnikrishnan is a successful share broker in Coimbatore who lives a comfortable life with his wife Latha and daughter Lakshmi. A stranger named Jose destabilizes his orderly life, preying on his forgetfulness and dredging up a supposed old classmate. Unni is clever but increasingly paranoid as the truth about a murder he and his friend framed Sivankutty for comes back to haunt him.

Latha is Unni's wife who enjoys a comfortable life in Coimbatore with their daughter. She provides emotional support but remains wary of the mysterious Jose who intrudes into their home. Her world is disrupted when the past intrusion threatens the family.

Jaya is Sivankutty's wife who left him after discovering his imprisonment. Her absence shapes Sivankutty's motive for revenge. Although not present in the final confrontation, Jaya's memory remains a driving force behind Sivankutty's actions.

Sivankutty is the man Unni and Alex once framed for murder, who returns to exact payback. He embodies cold calculation and menace, manipulating circumstances to draw his enemies back to his village. He intends to kill Unni and Alex but, after they confess, chooses to let them go.

Dr. Alexander Varghese, known as Alex, is Unni's confidant and a physician who helps uncover the truth about the past crime. He accompanies Unni back to Sivankutty's town and participates in the confession of the murder. His involvement highlights friendship, loyalty, and the peril of past actions.

Lakshmi, nicknamed Lechu, is Unni and Latha's daughter. Her presence anchors the family life that the conflict threatens. Her safety becomes a backdrop to the moral turmoil and the unfolding vengeance.
