Unni is a share broker living a comfortable life in Coimbatore with his wife Latha and daughter Lakshmi alias Lechu. The family enjoys a quiet, routine life focused on work, home, and subtle domestic comforts. This peaceful state becomes the target of conflict when a stranger arrives.

A stranger named Jose shows up at the home, claiming to be Unni's seventh-grade classmate. He is alcohol-tinged, loud, and unsettles the family with a long stay. Unni and Latha start noticing oddities as Jose clings to their routine and memories.

Unni grows uneasy about Jose's presence as he insinuates connections to the past and disrupts normal life. The guest's eccentricity and confidence push boundaries, prompting late-night conversations about identity and trust. The creeping insecurity makes the family wonder if Jose's arrival is really about a harmless visit or something darker.

Dr. Alex Varghese, a confidant, consults with Unni and questions whether a real schoolmate named Jose existed. He reaffirms Unni's doubts and hints at a hidden motive behind the visit. The doubts begin to align with stranger’s true nature.

The table turns when they discover that Jose is Sivankutty, a man they had long dreaded. He is there to exact payback for a past wrong. The truth dawns that Sivankutty knows their crime and intends to make them face it.

It is revealed that Unni and Alex had ruined Sivankutty's life by framing him for a murder they had accidentally committed in childhood. Sivankutty's wife Jaya and daughter Meenakshi left him after learning the secret. This backstory explains Sivankutty's motive for revenge.

When they reach Sivankutty's house, they learn that Jaya and Meenakshi have already died. The revelation devastates Sivankutty and complicates the confrontation.
