Baby Blood

A tiger arrives by cargo ship from Africa and is taken in by a local circus run by the abusive Lohman. Before any training can begin, the tiger is found dead in its cage, its body inexplicably burst open. Unbeknownst to Lohman, a parasitic serpent living inside the tiger escapes and seeds the next chain of events.

The tiger's corpse hides a parasitic serpent that slips away and finds a new host in Yanka, a young performer in Lohman's act, while she sleeps. The parasite begins to inhabit Yanka, taking up residence inside her and exerting influence. This marks the start of Yanka's nightmare.

One month later, Yanka leaves Lohman's circus and takes shelter in a derelict building in a nearby city. The parasite inside her grows more dominant as she hides from pursuers and begins to experience disturbing impulses. She is increasingly governed by a violence she cannot fully explain.

Lohman tracks Yanka to the derelict building, determined to recapture or control the situation. In a violent confrontation, Yanka murders Lohman with a knife, eliminating the immediate threat to her freedom. The parasite's influence over her actions becomes undeniable.

The parasite orders Yanka to drink the blood of a vagrant to fuel its growth toward birth. Overwhelmed by the urge and the control it exerts, she unsuccessfully attempts to drown herself in a river. The struggle between her humanity and the parasite deepens.

Some time later, Yanka arrives in Paris and starts working as a waitress. She catches the eye of Richard, who quickly becomes enamored and initiates a romance. Meanwhile, Yanka continues to murder civilians under the parasite's orders, though she remains largely unaware of the true cause.

Richard suggests marriage and starting a family, unaware of Yanka's dark secret. Under the parasite's influence, Yanka murders him, ending their relationship and triggering a new spiral of violence. The present danger becomes even harder to conceal.

Rosette, a jealous coworker who had been drawn to Richard, discovers his body at Yanka's apartment. The discovery prompts Yanka to flee, leaving behind a trail of fear and unanswered questions. Paris becomes a city of pursuit as authorities close in.

Six months have passed, and Yanka is now a visibly pregnant taxi driver. The parasite continues to push her toward violence, and she is compelled to kill a jogger to drink his blood. She murders several other civilians and steals a mobile blood donation van, driving toward the sea as ordered.

Under the parasite's direction, Yanka murders a jogger and drinks his blood to fuel its growth. The rampage continues as she murders more civilians and takes a blood donation van with a donor still inside. Police and bystanders begin to close in on her path toward the ocean.

The donor regains consciousness and attacks Yanka, causing the van to crash. Although medics declare her dead on arrival, the parasite restarts her heart and she returns to life. She then murders the medic and the ambulance driver in the back of the vehicle.

In the back of the ambulance, Yanka gives birth to a normal-looking baby boy. The telepathic connection she had shared with the parasite during pregnancy is abruptly severed. At a rest area, the parasite escapes the infant's body, killing another traveler in the process.

Yanka abandons the truck and boards a bus filled with men heading to Le Havre. The parasite reveals itself, burrows through the head of the driver, and the bus becomes a deadly trap. Yanka intentionally crashes the vehicle, causing an explosion, and at dawn the parasite retreats back into the ocean.
