Azrael

The film begins many years after a catastrophic event known as the Rapture, which has left the remnants of humanity struggling to survive. In this new world, they face the terrifying threat of the Burned Ones, demonic creatures that crave human flesh and blood.

Azrael and her partner Kenan are part of an extremist cult that believes in total silence, having had their vocal cords surgically removed. Their lives take a dark turn when Josephine, one of the cult's rulers, captures them with her enforcers, plotting to sacrifice Azrael to the sinister Burned Ones.

Despite being captured, Azrael bravely fights back and manages to escape, killing one of Josephine’s henchmen in the process. She flees into the dense woods, determined to survive and find her way back to Kenan.

While hiding in the forest, Azrael infiltrates the cult's fortified encampment and meets Miriam, the cult's spiritual interpreter. Miriam, who claims to receive divine guidance, provides Azrael with vital information about the cult's plans against her.

As Azrael escapes, she encounters a kind stranger who offers her a ride to safety. However, tragedy strikes when cultist gunfire causes a horrific crash, leaving her to navigate the wilderness alone once more.

In a heart-wrenching moment, Azrael discovers Kenan, her partner, brutally nailed to a tree. Her attempts to rescue him fail as cultists ambush her, and in a cruel turn, the Burned Ones arrive, tragically killing Kenan in the chaos.

In her desperate fight for survival, Azrael climbs a tree to evade the advancing Burned Ones. She manages to kill one of the creatures during her ascent, showcasing her determination to escape the horror surrounding her.

Back at the cult encampment, Azrael confronts Miriam in the church. As her thirst for vengeance intensifies, she almost executes Miriam but hesitates upon noticing her pregnancy, leading to an unforeseen turn in their conflict.

Under Josephine's orders, Azrael is entombed in a coffin attached to a dark tunnel. As she struggles to escape, a Burned One nears her but recoils in fear upon sensing Miriam's blood on her hands, providing her with a glimmer of hope.

Azrael fights her way back to freedom, erupting in flames of vengeance against the cult members. She returns to the encampment, systematically eliminating them with relentless determination, fueled by her anger and grief.

In a brutal confrontation, Azrael fights against Miriam, leading to a shocking moment where she viciously bites into Miriam’s neck. The chaos escalates further as Miriam unexpectedly goes into labor, heightening the tension in the church.

As both women struggle, Josephine arrives to help Miriam. In a climactic moment, Azrael fatally stabs Josephine in the neck, marking the culmination of their vicious conflict even as Miriam's cries of labor fill the air.

After Josephine's defeat, Azrael approaches the newborn but is horrified to discover it embodies the characteristics of the Antichrist. This revelation fills the atmosphere with dread as the impending arrival of the Burned Ones looms over them.

As the Burned Ones converge on the church, Azrael stands defiantly while cradling the monstrous infant. Her resolve is palpable amidst the chaos, evoking a chilling confrontation between human will and the forces of darkness.
