Thirthapathi, the town's zamindar, develops affection for the two half-brothers and sees potential in them beyond their petty criminal schemes. He wants to steer them toward a better path by treating them like family and providing guidance, particularly encouraging Walter's interest in acting and theater.

Earlier scenes show the brothers quarreling constantly, and Thirthapathi's intervention begins to soften their rivalry.

Navarasas refers to the nine fundamental emotions in Indian classical arts, laughter, sorrow, anger, fear, disgust, heroism, wonder, love, and peace. When actor Suriya visits a local school function, Walter performs all nine emotions to showcase his acting talent, moving his brother Saamy to tears.

Throughout the film, Walter is shown dreaming of a life beyond crime, and Thirthapathi's mentorship gives him the opportunity to pursue acting.

Saamy fears he will be arrested after confronting the insulting police inspector, and he desperately wants to see Thenmozhi one more time before going to jail. He fakes swallowing a blade so the authorities will rush him to the hospital, creating an opportunity to escape and meet her.

The blade act follows immediately after the brothers' bold confrontation with the inspector who insulted Thirthapathi.

After Thirthapathi helps expose the cattle smuggling operation, the smuggler retaliates by capturing him. The criminal strips Thirthapathi bare in the rain, beats him severely until he loses consciousness, and then hangs him from a tree to death.

The smuggler's arrest earlier in the film creates enemies who vow revenge against Thirthapathi.

After witnessing Walter's Navarasas performance, Saamy has an emotional breakthrough. In a private moment with Thirthapathi, he reveals that his aggressive, tough exterior and constant fighting with his brother were actually expressions of deep love and protectiveness toward Walter.

The Navarasas scene earlier shows Saamy visibly moved to tears while watching his brother's performance.

The brothers exact their revenge during Thirthapathi's funeral. They strap the smuggler beneath the funeral pyre, and as the cremation ceremony takes place, both Thirthapathi and the smuggler are burned together, the villain meets his end while the brothers dance in defiant victory.

This brutal act follows directly from the smuggler's murder of Thirthapathi earlier that night.

After the cremation where the smuggler is punished, Walter and Saamy dance together in a moment of defiant joy. This dance symbolizes their unity, resilience, and the triumph of brotherly bond over tragedy, they have survived loss and avenged their mentor.

The dance follows the brothers' coordinated attack to destroy the smuggler's gang and avenge Thirthapathi.

Thirthapathi exposes the illegal cattle smuggling network operating in the town, which threatens the local farmers and land. This intervention leads to the arrest of a key smuggler, but also creates the central conflict as the surviving smuggler seeks revenge against Thirthapathi.

The smuggling operation is mentioned early as a threat to the town's wellbeing, making Thirthapathi's exposure a turning point.

Walter uses his audacious capers to impress Baby, and eventually proves his worth by returning stolen goods and risking his safety to help her avoid consequences from a bad choice she made. This act of conscience behind his mischief earns her growing trust and affection.

Walter's bold attempts to win Baby over are shown throughout the early portions of the film.

After Saamy helps expose the cattle smuggling operation, Thirthapathi is moved by the brothers' loyalty. He signs over land to Thenmozhi's father to support her marriage to Saamy, effectively binding the two families together and creating peace.

Earlier, Thenmozhi's family had reservations about her relationship with Saamy due to his rough reputation.

After a police inspector insults Thirthapathi, Walter and Saamy seek revenge. Walter boldly hijacks a police truck loaded with supplies and dumps it deep in the forest as part of their daring punishment for the inspector's disrespect.

This act of defiance comes immediately after the insult to Thirthapathi that sparks the brothers' wrath.
