Set in pre‑independence India, the story follows Chiranjeevi, soon to be ship captain and about to marry his beloved. Two jealous rivals frame him and have him imprisoned. In jail he meets a zamindar who tells him of a hidden treasure to fund his revenge. After escaping, Chiranjeevi hunts each enemy, using the treasure to exact retribution.
