Priests surround a bound boy in a dark cave and beg him to reveal his fate. He pleads for mercy as a young woman enters, removes a bat locket, and transforms into the witch Nakita. Nakita kills the boy, unleashing the curse that will haunt the village.

Thakur Mahendra Pratap Singh learns that a witch named Nakita is creating havoc in the neighboring forest. His daughter tells of a body found outside the village, prompting him to investigate. The family prepares to confront the growing threat.

Thakur gifts an OM to his younger brother Sameer Pratap and sends him to hunt the witch. He offers blessings and prayers for protection on the dangerous mission. Sameer ventures into the forest to uncover Nakita’s whereabouts.

In the old mansion, Sameer seduces a young woman and retrieves her bat locket. She abruptly turns into Nakita, and the OM weakens her long enough to subdue her. She is then taken to the village where villagers kill her, believing she is the killer.

The tantric Baba and his followers steal Nakita’s body from the village and haul it to a shrine. He confines the body in a sarcophagus and promises Nakita a new host, setting up a grim plan to resurrect the witch.

During a trip to Mussoorie, Baba hypnotizes Jasmin, cuts a strand of her hair, and places the bottle in Nakita’s sarcophagus. The hypnotized Jasmin walks toward the shrine, and the witch’s spirit pulls her inside the tomb. Sameer rushes to help but is captured and killed by Baba’s men.

Baba brings Jasmin back to the Thakur’s mansion and informs them that Sameer has died. He insists on staying to protect his daughter, while Jasmin’s behavior alarmingly changes the household. A tragedy follows when Preeti is killed by Nakita after noticing the strange behavior.

Twelve years pass and Sahila, Thakur’s granddaughter, excels in exams and plans a summer visit. Baba tries to block her arrival by plotting a kidnapping, but Hemant intervenes and rescues her. Jasmin, now grown, begins to form a bond with a local mechanic who visits the mansion.

Jasmin invites a mechanic to the mansion; after they drink, they sleep together. He awakens to find Jasmin motionless, and the man is later found dead; the police suspect foul play. Hemant and Sahila arrive, and Thakur welcomes Hemant as a son after saving Sahila.

A doctor is summoned to examine Jasmin’s shifting personality, but he encounters the witch’s presence and is killed when he goes into her room at night. Raghu, the servant, is later killed as the danger escalates in the house.

Hemant and Sahila track Baba to Veerana; they are captured by Baba’s followers. Sahila discovers that Sameer Pratap is alive, and a mysterious savior named Hitchcock arrives to rescue them. The family learns the truth about Baba’s plots.

In the climactic ritual, Jasmin is saved when her father destroys the bottle containing the witch’s doll, sacrificing his own life. The witch returns to her body, Baba is killed, and the sarcophagus is moved to a temple. The witch burns away before the holy Lord as the surviving family begins anew.
