The Twin

Rachel, alongside her husband Anthony and their son Elliot, moves from New York to Finland. Their relocation is overshadowed by the grief of losing Elliot’s twin brother, Nathan, in a tragic car accident just prior to their departure.

During an outing, Elliot discovers a mysterious wall rumored to grant wishes. He makes an undisclosed wish, leading to a series of disturbing events that deeply concern Rachel.

At a welcome gathering arranged by locals, Rachel meets the town doctor and a woman named Helen. Helen cryptically hints at Elliot's secret wish, leaving Rachel feeling uneasy.

Elliot's behavior grows increasingly strange when he startlingly declares that he is actually Nathan. This shocking statement sends Rachel into a spiral of confusion and fear.

Rachel consults the town doctor about Elliot's behavior, but he dismisses her concerns and shockingly suggests that Rachel is the one in need of psychiatric care. This invalidation adds to Rachel’s distress.

Desperate for clarity, Rachel confides in Helen, who discloses the town's dark history with satanic rituals. She reveals that her late husband had been possessed by a dark spirit, raising alarm bells for Rachel.

In a shocking twist, Anthony reveals that Elliot is merely a figment of Rachel’s imagination, conceived from her grief over Nathan’s death. This revelation forces Rachel to confront her deep-seated delusions.

Tensions rise as 'Elliot' attempts to escape from Anthony, who tries to convince Rachel of the truth. In a critical moment at a grain silo, Anthony submerges Elliot in grain.

In an effort to save her son, Rachel accidentally kills Anthony, leading to tragic consequences. This moment marks a turning point in her deteriorating mental state.

After the chaos, Rachel remains unable to locate Elliot amidst the grain. She eventually returns to New York, trapped in her delusions, convinced that Nathan, Anthony, and Elliot still live on in some form.
