Beck, an ambitious chef, finds himself working as a debt collector for the notorious loan shark, Billy Walker. This life forces him into morally questionable situations, showcasing the grim reality he faces daily.

Tired of his dangerous lifestyle, Beck expresses his desire to quit his job. However, Billy persuades him to take one last job to rescue his son, Travis, from a small mining town in Brazil, promising enough money for Beck to open his dream restaurant.

Upon landing in El Dorado, Beck quickly encounters the powerful mining operator, Cornelius Hatcher. Initially, Cornelius allows Beck to retrieve Travis but later changes his mind upon learning about a golden artifact Travis has found.

Beck faces off against Cornelius and his gang in a local bar, revealing his tenacity. He successfully fights them off and manages to rescue Travis from Cornelius's clutches.

Beck and Travis attempt to escape, but their plans are thwarted when Travis drives their Jeep into the jungle. This decision leads them into an unintended confrontation with local rebels.

The local rebels, led by Mariana, mistakenly see Beck as a threat sent by Cornelius. This misunderstanding leads to a chaotic skirmish, revealing their desire to reclaim their freedom from Cornelius's rule.

During a violent assault on the rebel camp by Cornelius's men, severe casualties occur. Beck, Travis, and Mariana manage to survive the chaos, binding them closer as allies in their fight against Cornelius.

In a strategic move, Beck agrees to help Mariana retrieve the Gato, a long-lost artifact, believing it will assist in getting Travis back to safety. Their journey leads them to a hidden cave behind a stunning waterfall.

After securing the Gato, Mariana gifts Beck and Travis a toxic fruit that temporarily paralyzes them. She uses this opportunity to make her escape, leaving them vulnerable in the wilderness.

Regaining movement, Beck rushes to the airfield with Travis, only to discover that Mariana has been captured by Cornelius. Driven by a sense of duty, Travis insists they must save her.

Beck and Travis strategically use a cow stampede to launch a rescue operation against Cornelius's men. In the ensuing gunfire, Travis is trapped in a bus, but Beck acts heroically to save him just before it explodes.

Confronted by Cornelius, Beck offers him a chance to flee, but the mining operator refuses. The standoff culminates in a fierce battle, ultimately leading to Cornelius’s downfall at the hands of the agitated townspeople.

With Cornelius defeated, Travis hands over the Gato to Mariana, solidifying the alliance they’ve formed. Despite the challenges they faced together, Beck remains focused on ensuring Travis's safe return to the U.S.

Upon returning to Los Angeles, Beck delivers Travis back to Billy, but the reunion is anything but pleasant. Billy's abusive nature prompts Beck to hatch a plan of retaliation against him.

Beck cleverly disguises his intentions with a false celebration, using the toxic fruit on Billy and his crew. As they fall victim to paralysis, Beck rescues Travis, allowing them to finally escape from their tumultuous past.
