The Legend of Al, John and Jack

Three small-time gangsters shadow Sam Genovese at a New York City drive-in to spy on him. Genovese plans to execute a loyal traitor and film it for the FBI, but he chokes on his food at the moment of the shot. The night ends with Al being electrocuted and waking up with no memory.

A few days later, the trio hole up in a hotel room while Al discovers a bizarre memory-erasing syndrome triggered whenever he falls asleep. They begin to recount and relive their recent misadventures to try to make sense of what happened. Tension builds as danger closes in around them.
