Snow Buddies

The Buddies gather in Fernfield park to play hide and seek, full of energy and curiosity. Budderball spots an ice cream truck and climbs inside, triggering a frantic rescue attempt by the others. The misadventure leaves the puppies trapped in a truck that takes them away to Ferntiuktuk, Alaska.

The truck carrying the Buddies arrives in Ferntiuktuk, Alaska. There they meet Shasta, an Alaskan Husky puppy, and his 11-year-old owner Adam Bilson, who dreams of winning the sled race to honor his father. The meeting sets the stage for a joint pursuit of unlikely goals.

Shasta introduces Talon, a legendary Alaskan Malamute, who once trained Shasta's father. Talon agrees to teach the Buddies how to become snow dogs, despite their inexperience. The training montage begins as the team bonds and learns to work as a unit.

Adam starts building his sleigh and commits to rigorous training alongside Shasta and the Buddies. They practice together, hoping to prove that a boy and his dogs can compete in the race. Talon watches proudly as progress begins to show.

Adam crosses the finish line victorious, and the Buddies reunite with their owners Buddy, Molly, and the rest of Fernfield's kids. Jean George is scolded for his behavior, and his dogs chase him in frustration. The emotional moment cements the new bonds formed during the journey.

The Buddies say goodbye to Shasta and Adam, promising to stay in touch. All seven Buddies return home by airplane and are warmly greeted by their owners in Fernfield. The town celebrates the unlikely heroes who followed their dreams.

Back home, the owners watch news coverage of the race victory, and Bartleby the bulldog is left dumbstruck by the extraordinary hype around Buddies and their friends. The broadcast solidifies the town's pride in the team.

Buddy and Molly reflect on their puppies' growth while looking toward the future. Adam and a now nearly full-grown Shasta hike through Alaska with five new adult huskies, and Talon narrates a hopeful message about faith and destiny.
