Sita Ramam

The story begins with the backdrop of Operation Gibraltar, highlighting tensions between India and Pakistan over Kashmir. In 1964, Pakistani extremist Ansari plans to incite conflict by sending brainwashed teenagers to Kashmir to pose as locals, aiming to create discord between Kashmiri Pandits and Muslims.

Ansari's machinations lead him to leak details of the teenagers' activities to the Indian Army. This results in the Indian military ordering the assassination of the teenagers, with Ram and Vishnu among those involved. The incident triggers unrest in Kashmir and intensifies the conflict.

Ansari's manipulation sparks a riot where Kashmiri Muslims accuse the Indian Army of murdering the teenagers. Kashmiri Muslims boycott the army and burn a place called Agarta, but Ram exposes Ansari's conspiracy, causing the riot to subside and earning the army's appreciation.

Ram receives letters from a woman claiming to be married to him, named Sita Mahalakshmi. Fascinated, Ram seeks to find her and eventually meets her after discovering she will travel to Hyderabad by train. Their initial encounter marks the beginning of their emotional connection.

Ram and Vikas board the same train to Hyderabad, hoping to meet Sita again. However, due to a misadventure, they end up in Madras instead. Ram feels disappointed when he learns the landline is dead, but Sita searches for him in Hyderabad, leaving Ram longing for a reunion.

Through a photograph, Afreen and Balaji discover that Sita Mahalakshmi is actually Princess Noor Jahan. This revelation shocks them as they realize her royal background and her secret love for Ram, which was hidden during her time in Kashmir.

Princess Noor Jahan, secretly in love with Ram, is forced to leave Kashmir due to her family's circumstances, including a marriage proposal to the Prince of Oman. Despite her love for Ram, she leaves to fulfill her familial duties, concealing her true identity.

Ram and his team undertake a covert mission to eliminate Ansari, targeting his hideout in Pakistan. They succeed but are caught during the rescue of Waheeda, which leads to Ram's imprisonment and Vishnu's rescue in a prisoner exchange orchestrated by Pakistani authorities.

Ram is wrongfully labeled a traitor after attacks on Indian Army bases; Sita bears the humiliation. Vishnu, feeling guilty, trusts Ram and protects Waheeda from terrorists, leading to his regret for the events that unfolded.

Vishnu reveals to Afreen that she is Waheeda, the girl Ram had tried to protect. This revelation devastates Afreen, adding emotional weight to the story of separation and lost love.

Letters and photographs unveil the tragic ending: Ram was executed in prison, and Sita learns the truth about his fate. She becomes distraught, and Vishnu, overwhelmed by guilt, commits suicide.

Sita receives a medal from the President of India, recognizing Ram's heroism. Afreen also helps to restore Ram's reputation and facilitates the release of Indian prisoners from Pakistani custody, bringing a sense of closure.
