Bajirao Singham, now married to Kareena Kapoor Khan, who plays Avni Singhham, is a dedicated police officer with a peaceful family life. They have a son named Shaurya, played by Viren Vazirani. Singham has been transferred from Mumbai to Srinagar on a three-year assignment as a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP). This move puts him in a new environment where he faces fresh challenges, especially from powerful and dangerous enemies.
Soon after his arrival, Singham encounters Omar Hafeez, the leader of Lashkar, portrayed by Jackie Shroff. Omar is a formidable antagonist who had fled from Pakistan to Sri Lanka, where he began selling drugs as part of his larger plan. His late sons, Riyaaz and Raza, had their own plans thwarted by Singham and others, but Omar remains motivated by revenge. He is driven by arrogance and a desire to threaten Singham directly—warning him about a coming danger involving Sangram “Simmba” Bhalerao, played by Ranveer Singh, and Veer Sooryavanshi, played by Akshay Kumar. Omar’s ultimate goal is to use the profits from the drug trade to fund potential terrorist attacks targeting India.
Singham, along with the Home Minister Raj Jaishankar, who is played by Ravi Kishan, learns about a significant drug syndicate operating across borders. The drugs are being transported from Sri Lanka through Tamil Nadu’s coastal regions, which raises national security concerns. The authorities establish “Shiva Squad,” a specialized team led by Singham, alongside officers like ACP Daya, played by Dayanand Shetty, and ACP Devika, played by Shweta Tiwari, to dismantle the operation and prevent further terrorist activity. Their efforts are continuous, and their aim is to stop Omar from financing terrorist acts through drug money.
Two years later, the film showcases a quieter, more personal scene where Avni hosts a Ramlila play depicting Lord Ram and Sita’s journey, symbolizing hope and resilience. During this time, Singham intercepts a ship heading toward Tamil Nadu from Sri Lanka, uncovering containers filled with drugs and arresting four men linked to a figure called Danger Lanka. These detainees reveal that Lanka’s associates are hiding in Madurai, prompting Singham to collaborate with Shakti Shetty, a detective from Madurai played by Deepika Padukone, to arrest and escort the suspects. However, Danger Lanka, also known as Zubair Hafeez—the grandson of Omar Hafeez—arrives unexpectedly at the police station, killing police officers and rescuing his men. His return unsettles the police force, especially Shakti, who feels guilty for not saving her colleagues.
In the midst of these dangerous developments, Avni departs for Rameshwaram to gather footage for her production, accompanied by her colleague, Mrigya, who is later revealed to be Iqra Hafeez. Their peace is short-lived, as Avni is abducted by Danger Lanka. Singham, informed of her kidnapping, quickly mobilizes his team and heads to Rameshwaram. Daya finds her, rescues her, and helps her escape, but Lanka’s men are relentless. During the chase, Avni throws her bangles—gifted by Singham—as a sign for him to locate her, but in the process, Daya suffers serious injuries. Avni is eventually saved by ACP Satya Bali, played by Ranveer Singh, who considers Singham an inspiration. This leads Singham to confront the rising threat and hunt down Lanka’s hideouts.
Ongoing threats escalate, and Danger Lanka reveals his true identity as Zubair Hafeez, seeking revenge against Singham, Simmba, and Veer. He is aided by Iqra Hafeez, who admits her true identity as Mrigya, and confesses that they have stayed in India for two years to monitor Singham and Avni. Zubair demands that Singham bring Omar Hafeez along with Simmba and Veer from Sri Lanka, and return Avni safely. Zubair’s motives are deeply personal, rooted in revenge for his father and family.
Singham journeys to Colombo, where Zubair keeps Avni hostage. Meanwhile, Simmba heads to Sri Lanka, meeting Avni and informing her that Singham will come to rescue her. Zubair, trying to trap Simmba, fails as he manages to escape and destroy his hideout. With the help of RAW agents, Singham locates Simmba and Avni, and together with Veer Sooryavanshi, they launch a daring assault to free her. The operations culminate in intense action sequences, with the team killing Zubair’s operatives and finally confronting Zubair himself.
Singham successfully kills Zubair and ensures Avni’s safety, returning to India with her and the team. Omar Hafeez is shipped back on a military plane, under arrest. Meanwhile, Avni’s Ramlila production is a huge success, marking a triumphant milestone in her career and their family life. The film concludes with a post-credits scene where ACP Chulbul Pandey, played by Salman Khan, visits Singham’s office, requesting to join his Shiva Squad, hinting at future collaborations and adventures.
Throughout this story, themes of justice, loyalty, and resilience are woven into a high-octane narrative filled with action, drama, and patriotism, making it a compelling tale of heroism and sacrifice.
