Following a shocking series of events that lead to Inspector Rakesh Kadam’s tragic suicide due to corruption allegations, his grieving wife, Megha, along with their son, Nitin, embarks on a relentless quest for justice. She firmly believes that her husband was wrongfully framed by Jaykant Shikre, a notorious gangster portrayed by Prakash Raj. In her pursuit, she tirelessly advocates for a CBI inquiry into the circumstances surrounding her husband’s death.

When the High Court orders Jaykant to appear at the Shivgad Police Station—located at the border between Maharashtra and Karnataka—he defiantly declines. This is where Inspector Bajirao Singham, played by Ajay Devgan, steps in. Renowned for his fairness and heroism in the village, Bajirao has recently fallen for the beautiful Kavya Bhosle, portrayed by Kajal Agarwal. His reputation as a protector of the community places him in direct conflict with Jaykant, who arrives with a menacing entourage to confront Bajirao. However, the local officer’s integrity and the community’s backing prove too powerful for Jaykant, forcing him to retreat in humiliation.

In a desperate bid for revenge, Jaykant schemes to leverage his connections with politicians and local authorities as he plots to manipulate the system while aiming to win local elections. Meanwhile, Megha’s pursuit of justice turns increasingly futile as she faces various obstacles, all orchestrated by Jaykant’s widespread influence.

As Bajirao strives to assist Megha by presenting her case to his superiors, he faces open disdain, with uncooperative senior officers and even politicians undermining their efforts. Frustration builds as Jaykant declares his intentions to seek public office, making matters even worse.

Just when it seems hopeless, a turning point arrives when Megha’s son inspires Bajirao to view the situation from a new angle. Armed with determination, Bajirao begins to dismantle Jaykant’s network by planting evidence and making strategic arrests, defying orders from higher authorities. Despite threatening consequences, including dismissal, Bajirao remains steadfast, bolstered by the unwavering support of his colleagues.

As Jaykant grows increasingly desperate, he resorts to kidnapping Kavya’s sister, Anjali, to extract a ransom from her father. Bajirao, showcasing his relentless dedication, confronts the dangerous dynamics at play during the ransom drop, ultimately leading to Jaykant’s exposure.

Despite enduring numerous setbacks—including Jaykant’s electoral triumphs and attempts to sideline Bajirao—the Inspector’s resolve does not waver. A powerful speech to the Goa DCP earns him newfound allies as they execute a bold plan to orchestrate Jaykant’s downfall. With the help of his team, they capture Jaykant and stage his suicide, successfully exonerating Kadam and revealing Jaykant’s true nature as a criminal.
