Sator

Nani, who is battling dementia, becomes convinced that a supernatural entity named Sator is communicating with her and compelling her to engage in automatic writing. This unsettling relationship escalates when her daughter mysteriously disappears. In the wake of these traumatic events, Nani’s grandson, Adam, seeks refuge in a secluded cabin, intent on uncovering the truth about Sator. Armed with a hunting rifle and accompanied by his loyal dog, Adam explores the nearby woods, diligently reviewing footage from a deer camera set up at the cabin.

Meanwhile, Adam’s sister, Deborah, is left to manage the family’s turmoil, while their brother Pete experiences a distressing mental breakdown during a visit with his friend Evie, who suffers memory loss following a tragic accident. As the tension builds, a mysterious figure emerges—a disciple of Sator, donned in fur and an animal skull mask, who presents Adam with a photograph featuring several Sator disciples lurking in a dark forest.

As Adam delves deeper into the woods in search of his missing dog, the chilling reality of his family’s connection to Sator unravels. During this harrowing search, Pete reveals a haunting suspicion: that their grandfather, Jim, might have sacrificed himself to Sator, an idea supported by Nani’s affirmations.

In a shocking turn, Adam discovers Evie tied to a tree but, in a moment of inexplicable compulsion, attempts to choke her after freeing her. She escapes, vanishing into the sky. Shortly after, Adam is confronted by more Sator disciples at the cabin, prompting him to flee into a nearby cave where he experiences possession during a fateful encounter with Sator.

The situation spirals further when Pete comes to visit Adam at the cabin, only to find Evie sitting ominously in a chair. In a fit of rage and possession, Adam attacks Pete, inflicting grave injuries. As the night darkens, Adam finds himself struggling with inner demons, levitating above the ground in a trance.

Back at home, Nani’s eerie laughter resonates through the hall when she sees Adam, now bald and transformed. As Deborah searches for Nani outside, Adam assaults her. In a terrifying sequence, Evie douses Deborah in gasoline, and together they orchestrate a horrifying act of arson. Sator’s disciples surround the flames, witnessing the bizarre culmination of unfathomable events.

Adam then reenters the house, passing by a locked room where a bald woman sits quietly with Adam’s dog. Ultimately, he joins Nani and another Sator disciple in an adjacent room, the ominous atmosphere thick with dread and the unexplainable influence of Sator looming over them all.
