Riddle of Fire

Alice, Hazel, and Jodie plan a daring heist to steal a new video game console from a local warehouse. Their goal is to enjoy an adventure with their prize, only to find a complication awaiting them back home.

Upon returning home with the stolen console, the children discover that their TV has been password locked by Hazel and Jodie's sick mother. They strike a deal to bring her a blueberry pie in exchange for the password and two hours of playtime.

The kids head to the local bakery only to find out they are out of blueberry pies. In a twist of fate, they manage to extract the recipe from the ill baker, setting them on a path to gather the ingredients for their pie.

Determined, the kids decide to 'borrow' the ingredients from a nearby supermarket. However, their adventure takes a turn when a man named John Redrye steals the last crucial ingredient they need: a speckled egg.

The children follow Redrye back to his cabin, unwittingly stumbling upon the Enchanted Blade Gang, a group of poachers led by the sinister Anna-Freya. Their plans escalate as they witness the gang's nefarious dealings.

Trying to retrieve the egg, the kids hide in the back of Redrye's truck, which takes them to the mountains. Here, the gang prepares to hunt for the Prince of the Mountain, a giant elk, adding tension to the situation.

In the mountains, the kids meet Petal, Anna-Freya's daughter, who secretly wishes to spend time with her mother. They join forces to devise a plan to distract the gang and reclaim the stolen eggs.

While celebrating their small victory, Hazel succumbs to hunger and a bottle of liquor, leading to a calamity where the remaining eggs are accidentally cracked and fried. Their chances of success are now dwindling.

Once the Enchanted Blade Gang discovers the kids' presence, they abandon their elk hunt and begin a relentless pursuit of the children. The stakes rise as Redrye reveals his intent to harm them.

The chase culminates at a local bar where Petal knows a chicken that lays speckled eggs. The owner, however, demands $30 for the egg, escalating the situation as the kids struggle to find a way to pay.

The kids end up dancing in the bar for the owner's favor, but their joy turns to dismay when the price for the egg skyrockets to $100. Frustrated but determined, they decide to take matters into their own hands.

Just as the kids steal the egg and attempt to make their escape, they are caught by bar patrons. However, the Enchanted Blade Gang interrupts, creating chaos and a brawl that allows the children to slip away.

Following the brawl, the confrontation escalates as Anna-Freya threatens the children when they reveal they only wanted the egg. A moment of panic ensues when the egg is shattered, raising the stakes further.

The police arrive at the scene, having been tipped off about the kids' earlier theft. In a twist of fate, the children point out the poachers to the authorities, hoping to clear their names.

Back home, Petal reveals she stole another egg from the chicken. The children bake the pie for Hazel's mother, who welcomes Petal into their family, finally giving the password for the TV.
