Ria is poised, sharp, and unafraid to use wit and charm to secure a scoop, making the two veterans natural foils as they jockey for dominance in the ratings-driven arena.

In the shadows of the broadcast war, Pappu Junior, known as Choti, is a local don whose hold on the underworld is slipping. Ajay approaches Choti with a risky scheme: stage a fake attack on Madanlal Gupta—Madanlal Gupta is Ramakant Dua’s brother-in-law—on national television. Choti agrees, hoping the plan will elevate his own standing while giving Ajay the sensational material he craves. The plan seems simple, and the lure of instant fame and power proves hard to resist for all involved, but the line between performance and reality begins to blur in dangerous ways.
