His dynamic, fast-paced world collides with a rival network, Galaxy TV, which lures in Ria Banerjee to outshine him. Ria is poised, sharp, and unafraid to use wit and charm to secure a scoop, making the two veterans natural foils as they jockey for dominance in the ratings-driven arena.

In the shadows of the broadcast war, Pappu Junior, known as Choti, is a local don whose hold on the underworld is slipping. Ajay approaches Choti with a risky scheme: stage a fake attack on Madanlal Gupta—Madanlal Gupta is Ramakant Dua’s brother-in-law—on national television. Choti agrees, hoping the plan will elevate his own standing while giving Ajay the sensational material he craves. The plan seems simple, and the lure of instant fame and power proves hard to resist for all involved, but the line between performance and reality begins to blur in dangerous ways.

As the city tunes in to the staged drama, a real tragedy unfolds. An assailant strikes Madanlal Gupta, and Mohan Joshi, a man with a painful personal history, is arrested and branded a foreign terrorist by the Police Commissioner, an accusation that hangs heavily over the investigation. Mohan Joshi reveals his true backstory in a tense, emotionally charged confession: his daughter Kavita was raped and killed after a job interview at Madanlal’s residence, and because powerful political figures shielded the perpetrator, Mohan had no recourse to justice. In a moment of moral clarity, Ajay and Ria decide to help Mohan seek justice for his daughter. Mohan, who has endured unspeakable loss, begins to see Ajay and Ria as surrogate children, grateful for their willingness to listen and stand with him.
