Sam Alex [Prithviraj Sukumaran] is a seasoned SP in the Kerala Police who leans on alcohol to cope with the unimaginable loss of his family. Once a calm, devoted family man, his world shatters when his wife Teena [Meghana Raj] and their daughter are murdered by a terrorist right in front of him. He shoots the attacker in a heated moment, but the trauma pushes him deeper into drink, threatening to derail his career and his life.
When the case is assigned to a parallel investigation, IG Aravindaksha Menon [Suresh Krishna] asks Sam to look into the disappearances and possible kidnappings of several young married men—an inquiry the main team has not cracked. At first, Sam resists the assignment, but his mother Marykutty [Vanitha Krishnachandran] begs him to consider the possibility of solving at least some of the mystery for the sake of the families left behind.
Driven by a mix of duty and personal resolve, Sam digs into the files, pores over post-mortem reports, and questions the doctors who examined the victims. A breakthrough soon emerges: the killer is an eccentric man with a limp and a short right leg, who leaves chilling clues etched with a surgical knife on the chests of his victims. Those scratches are not random markings; they are written in Aramaic, the language historically associated with Jesus, and the phrases point toward biblical proverbs. This grim clue helps Sam refine a profile: the killer is likely deranged, convinced that the victims sacrificed themselves to atone for their wives’ sins.
With this new line of inquiry, Sam summons the wives for questioning and isolates a potential trail that centers on a man named Anand who studied with them years earlier. Yet there is no hard evidence to pin him down, and Anand has since vanished, living under the assumed name Peter. The hunt intensifies as Sam realizes there is a final, imminent target—the killer’s attention seems fixed on his own brother, Sanju [Rahul Madhav], with Sanju’s wife Anitha as the last link.
The pursuit leads Sam to a property near Kottayam, where a tense confrontation unfolds. With the help of a trusted colleague and careful reasoning, he closes in on Anand and stops the danger before Sanju falls prey. After the confrontation, Sam makes a decisive life choice: he gives up drinking and begins a new chapter. In a deeply emotional finale, he adopts Parvathi Issac [Praveena]’s daughter, bringing the killer’s shadow to a close and charting a path toward healing for himself and those around him.
