In the crowded, neon-lit streets of Mumbai, a hopeful singer Raj Salman Khan chases his big break in the city’s bustling music scene. The woman, Pooja Oberoi Rani Mukerji, the daughter of a wealthy family, survives but slips into a coma. Her father, Bharat Oberoi Rajeev Verma, rushes to the hospital, and the family, seeing Raj there, assumes he is Pooja's husband Romi, a man she eloped with whom they have never met.
