Eshwar and his pregnant wife Aathika rent the first floor of the two-floor house, while Ilamparuthi and his wife Selvi with daughter Aparna occupy the ground floor. The two families initially get along, sharing routines and a sense of neighborly civility. This calm sets up the later clash over a seemingly ordinary parking space.

Eshwar buys a new car for his wife, aiming to improve comfort and travel. The parking space, already scarce, becomes a source of friction as Ilamparuthi watches the space he used to control be occupied. The dispute over who owns the space escalates into a test of wills.

To guard his claim, Ilamparuthi sells his motorbike and buys a car himself, effectively tilting the parking balance in his favor. He uses the extra vehicle to assert control over the shared space. The rivalry deepens into a persistent, daily standoff.

The parking dispute spills into the open as both families confront each other. Ilamparuthi insults Eshwar's mother, provoking a strong, personal reaction. In anger, Eshwar slaps Ilamparuthi, raising the personal stakes of the feud.

In retaliation, Ilamparuthi and his brother-in-law pressure Aparna to file a harassment complaint against Eshwar. Eshwar is arrested as the case proceeds, illustrating how far the feud has spiraled. Aparna later feels guilty and withdraws the complaint, and Eshwar is released.

Amid the mounting tension, Aathika goes into labour and Eshwar rushes her to the hospital, where she delivers a baby. This event adds a new, emotional dimension to the conflict and complicates Eshwar's feelings about the feud.

After the hospital episode, Eshwar regains consciousness and confronts Ilamparuthi who has returned home. He brutally attacks him, ignoring pleas about his wife's delivery. The violence marks a low point in their relationship.

In a drastic turn, Eshwar heats Ilamparuthi's mobile phone in a microwave and orchestrates a gas leak. The extreme plan highlights how the feud has pushed him to contemplate murder. He momentarily imagines erasing his rival through calculated danger.

When Eshwar learns that Ilamparuthi had helped Aathika in her time of need, he is horrified by his own intended crime. He switches off the main power to the house to prevent a catastrophe, ending the immediate danger. The moment marks a pivot toward recognizing the consequences of their actions.

Eshwar and Ilamparuthi apologize to each other, acknowledging they could have handled the parking issue more maturely. Both families move out, and the owner begins seeking tenants who do not own cars, attempting to prevent a repeat of the feud.
