Night of the Demons III

On Halloween night, Officer Larry, patrolling Hull House, is confronted by Angela and killed with his own badge. The brutal murder hints at the house's long, dark history. This event sets up Angela's return later in the night.

A group of sociopathic teens—Vince, Lois, Nick, Reggie, and Orson—cruise through town and pick up Holly and Abbie after their breakdown. They exude menace and a reckless thrill as they head toward the school dance. Holly and Abbie become entangled in a night they do not understand.

At a convenience store, Reggie tries to buy beer with a fake ID, triggering a confrontation with a shotgun-wielding clerk. Two police officers arrive; one is shot by the clerk, and the other shoots Reggie as the teens flee in the van. The chaotic escape leaves them with stolen guns and the night still escalating.

Lieutenant Dewhurst watches the security camera footage and concludes the clerk’s robbery story is a cover for stealing money. He suspects the youths are frightened, not criminal masterminds. His skeptical view sets up his later attempts to intervene.

With the gas tank nearly empty, the teens decide to hide out at Hull House. Abbie warns Vince that the place is possessed and that the underground stream must not be crossed. Ignoring the warning, Vince forces everyone inside at gunpoint, triggering the house’s ominous awakening.

From the basement crematorium, the evil spirit Angela rises into the house and begins possessing rooms and people. The demon tightens its grip, turning Hull House into a breeding ground for horror. The atmosphere grows heavy with supernatural menace.

Orson shows loyalty but becomes a target as Angela uses seductive power to draw him away. She kills him with a demon tongue after a deceptive seduction, eliminating a potential protector for the teens. The living group realizes their danger has escalated into in-house horror.

Nick creeps up on Vince and Lois as they kiss, hoping to seize the shotgun. Vince fires at Nick but misses, keeping the weapon out of Nick's hands. The tense moment heightens the risk to everyone inside Hull House.

Angela possesses Abbie in a chapel, turning her into a demonic version of her cat-costume persona. She seduces Vince to turn him against his friends and intensifies the threat. Lois is scratched during the struggle as possession spreads.

Holly smashes a police car window to call for help, but Officer Larry attacks. He chases Holly across the courtyard as she crosses the underground stream, and is disintegrated when attempting to cross the boundary. The stream becomes a deadly barrier for those trying to escape.

The badly wounded Reggie leaves the van to seek help, only to be run over by the now-possessed Orson. The death deepens the group's peril and marks another brutal turn in the night. The demons tighten their hold on Hull House.

Holly and Nick hide in the attic and share a moment before Orson returns. Holly disables him with a can of lye, and Dewhurst arrives, handcuffs them, and leads them outside. The balance of power shifts as the lieutenant tries to bring order to the chaos.

Dewhurst tries to help, but Vince arrives with Angela as a hostage. Angela manipulates Vince into doubting the lieutenant’s truthfulness. Vince shoots and is killed, his eye struck by a bullet as Angela returns to full demon form.

Dewhurst creates a diversion and stabs Angela with Nick’s switchblade. Nick drives the police car to ram Angela, pinning her against a tree as dawn approaches. Angela retreats toward the house, but the trio makes a desperate dash for the underground stream.

Angela reappears just as the trio nears escape, pulling Holly and her pursuers toward the stream. Nick pulls Holly and Angela over the stream, causing Angela to dissolve. Holly leaves a cross of sticks at the gate and vows to return every Halloween to guard the threshold as the house lights come on and Angela laughs, Happy Halloween.
