In his bid to protect Annie, David loses some of his closest friends who oppose his methods, revealing the high personal cost of challenging corrupt power structures in their social circle.

The rest of the thriller follows David's ongoing quest to prove Annie's innocence and to expose the false idols in socio-politics in Kottayam and the state, challenging entrenched power and moral complicity.
